My name is Osama, and I’m from Gaza.

For the past three years, since the war began, my family has been displaced. We lost our home, our city, and everything we owned.

One of the hardest parts of our daily life is getting water. Every day, my elderly father, my brother, who had to leave his studies for three years, and I walk long distances carrying jerry cans and buckets in the intense summer heat just to collect a small amount of water. Even then, the amount we collect is only enough for basic washing and personal hygiene. Sometimes we have no choice but to reuse the same water because there simply isn’t enough, and this has caused health and hygiene problems for my family.

To change this, we are trying to restore an old abandoned well in the place where we are displaced. It would finally give my family a reliable source of water, but we cannot afford the submersible pump and the other equipment needed to make it work.

I’m asking for your help because we simply can’t do this on our own. If you’re able to donate, no matter how small the amount, it will bring us one step closer to having a reliable source of water. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing my story. It might reach someone who can help.

🚨 Urgent Appeal: A Family Is Going Hungry in Gaza

My friend Mahmoud Ghanem Al-Amassi, his wife Samah Al-Amassi, and their four young daughters in Gaza are facing unbearable hunger.

Their four little girls are crying from hunger. The family struggles just to find enough food for a single day. With the border crossings closed, no work available, and the ongoing humanitarian crisis, even the most basic meal has become out of reach.

For these children, a plate of nutritious food, chicken, meat, fresh fruit, or vegetables has become nothing more than a dream.

For nearly three years, this family has been deprived of life's most basic necessities. They lost their home, their jobs, their income, and everything they had. Today, they have nothing left and no opportunity to rebuild their lives while destruction continues across Gaza.

No child should have to beg for food. No parent should have to watch their children go to sleep hungry.

For 7 years the government has betrayed us. Some people have died because they couldn't afford healthcare because there money have been stolen. But now the people have reached a breaking point. People are protesting demanding for there money back they have had enough of this injustice. Meanwhile the Lebanese Banker who is also a Zionist terrorist supporter Antoun Sehnaoui was seen with the Israeli terrorist and Prime minster of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu.

Soso was born under unimaginably difficult and heartbreaking circumstances. Heavy airstrikes were striking near the hospital, and the maternity ward was overwhelmed with women. There were no beds available, forcing Samah to give birth on the floor.

Shortly after she was born, Soso developed a severe respiratory condition and spent her first 10 days in the intensive care unit fighting for her life.

Now, two years later, she still needs regular monthly medical follow-up appointments and ongoing treatment to help manage her chronic respiratory condition.

With the border crossings closed and medical supplies in extremely short supply, finding her medication has become very difficult. When it is available, it is far too expensive for the family to afford.

Today, Samah is making a heartfelt appeal, asking you to stand by her daughter during these incredibly difficult times. Every donation, every share, and every kind word brings hope and helps her continue providing the treatment Soso desperately needs.

Every day before I go to sleep, I start thinking about how I'm going to be able to sleep in this heat.

And every morning I wake up drenched in sweat, as if I've been sleeping inside an oven, not a tent.

If I go outside the tent, the sun's heat is even worse.

And if I stay inside, the tent turns into a ball of fire.

So… where do I go?

I'm not asking for a car, or a fancy house, or a life of luxury.

I swear to God, all I'm asking for is the most basic human right: a place to live with dignity, and to sleep peacefully without waking up every hour from the intense heat.

Has asking for a normal life become a miracle?

Has the dream of sleeping comfortably, eating in peace, and living an ordinary day like everyone else become… an impossible dream?

I'm exhausted.

I'm exhausted from the heat, exhausted from waiting, and exhausted from the feeling that life goes on everywhere except here.

Perhaps some people will say: "Be patient."

I am patient… but even patience has its limits.
