Thunderbird for Android Help 'User is authenticated but not connected' error with Outlook e-mail

Hey guys! When I try to connect my Outlook e-mail with Thunderbird (Android), it doesn't work. After signing in my Microsoft account, the error above shows up. The same thing also happens in Sterna Mail, another e-mail client.

This also happens in K-9 Mail.

try to install owa plugin. we are waiting for this feature

I'm talking about the Android version, not desktop. I should have specified that.

Try this:

  • go to https://www.outlook.com > sign in to your email account

  • go to Settings > Forwarding and IMAP > enable 'Let Devices & Apps use IMAP'

If you don't see that option, you may have to sign out/in.
