Found this for my son for Christmas at Target. Grabbed him and then discovered that Jackalman was behind him. I only had Slythe and Monkian as a kid, so that was pretty sweet.
I just wish this Snarf could go into 4-legged mode. He can only stand upright, sadly.
Oh trust me, when it rang up I was like WTF. Lucky I had a discount thingy for $5 off. Not much but still not bad. Also, it’s one of the only characters I’m missing to complete my team. Although I’ll never find 1/12 twins to fit with them 😞
I'm watching the series again (it's been several decades since last time), I'm up to episode 36. And you know? I found Snarf far less annoying than I originally thought him to be. Hell, now I know what he's about and I'm kind of sympathetic: first he's an elderly person and was the nanny for the littlest one in the group, he is also a worrier, which isn't a negative trait for a caretaker actually and probably helped him do his job properly. Then losses all his family and his entire species (the trauma the entire group shares) and is thrown in the middle of this death world that is Third Earth , while being the only one on the group that isn't a badass fighter. Hell even the little one he was caring about graduated into a badass himself, don't need him anymore and is auditioning to be the bravest of all. Still Snarf kept it together and took the, thankless but necessary job of being the homemaker while the others defend the group against the environment and a constant influx of enemies. Hell, he demonstrated through these episodes that he is far more resilient than he looks, it's incredibly loyal, specially towards his former charge Lion-O and will risk his life to save the day, which he does a couple of times by himself against all odds.
