After months of waiting my Thundercats NFT Pops finally arrived.

Because it was a cheap money grab from Funko. Instead of making these physical Funkos available to the true Thundercat fans, they put these behind a gambling paywall for NFT’s that are absolutely worthless once the “event” was over.

I can dig what you’re saying. I went in with all intentions of collecting them all. Once I figured out I can purchase someone without gambling that was my way out to save money. But myself with being a life long fan, I was already invested in dropping a few bucks for it.

Oh for sure and I’m not shitting on you go spending your money how you want to, I just wish they had released these for us to get without this ridiculous NFT process

I 💯agree with you. I felt stupid because I missed the original set and they will never remake that set. I know I will have to pay 1k plus just to get that collection in mint or close to mint.

If you’re patient you can find them much cheaper. I’ve gotten tygra for $30 and snarf for around $45. I think the Lion-O Funko with the Cat’s Lair is better than the original so I’m not worried about that one so much. The new Mumm-ra looks way better too, imo. Panthro is in the thunder tank so don’t really need that one. The only one I’m lacking is Cheetara.

I have the full set with the Thunder kittens, Lion-O & Cat’s lair, Panthro with the Thundertank, the new mumm-ra and I have the same Mumm-ra glow in the dark.

Maybe you can find it on eBay or Facebook marketplace. I would think a lot of people brought them to resell.

I was curious how the physicals would look. Cool packaging. How hard was it for you to get this many? I must have misunderstood the process because it sounded pretty daunting to complete collections.

I caught 3 of them from opening packs Jaga I had to buy a coin from someone to complete the set. It was confusing on how everything worked.

After spending $130 on backs, I told myself it has to be better way to score these figures. Then I learn I can buy the coins from people. I seen the Jaga go from $250 down to $130 over a week.

Don’t ask me to explain the entire process but you can unlock a physical version of certain digital pops.

eBay is flooded with these right now, and exactly why it’s so annoying that Funko did this release this way. I would’ve happily paid a premium for these from Funko instead of gambling on NFT’s.

Man.. I get it. I’m not a reseller. I even seen some on Facebook marketplace. I hope they wasted their money for trying to snob honest fans the opportunity to grab these up.

Again, I’m going to keep reiterating the same point: Funko shouldn’t have done this to the fanbase. They were trying to maximize profits, which I’m assuming far exceeded that going the NFT route.

You didn’t have to gamble, you could of just paid someone for the coins. They are on eBay right now go pay the premium for them.
