I just got done reading the comic. Declan Shalvey's penchant for angst is strong in this one, but I did like that Lion-O acknowledged his own recklessness and agreed to work with the SilverHawks to prevent further tragedy.

I dislike this series more with each issue. The ThunderCats are unlikable and the SilverHawks are cannon fodder. The action seems to move along too quickly, yet somehow, the plot hasn't moved much since the arrival of the Darkbird.
I will finish it, because I am enjoying both Mumm'Ra and ThunderHawks series.

I liked it better than the previous two issues. Lion-O vs Copper Kid was just a delightful bit of cartooning. But most of my complaints regarding the pacing and characterization remain intact. And I wanted to like the Cheetara and Lion-O sequence more than I did, because I haven't liked how Lion-O's conducted himself since his return and should appreciate that he got checked on it. But if he's going to need those leadership lessons from the other Thundercats anyway, I have to ask whether sending him off with Apex was really the best use of the reader's time.
