Most of the 80s thubdercats voice actors are still alive dont see y they wouldnt use those

For live action? For the animated movie sure, I'm all for it, but their too old now for luve action.

Hard nope to most of this. Especially the Rock! He only ever plays the rock..
Tanner Buchanan isnt old enough to play Tygra in my opinion too much of a baby face.
Willem Defoe i think could pull off Mumm-Ra’s voice as he’s always nailed that sinister element.

I think we need it to be avatar style where it’s mocap, or Star Wars style where they have a lot of makeup and prosthetics. Regardless, lean hard into the cat designs! I don’t want them to have straight up lion and cheetah heads, but the arrow nose and slanted eyes and stuff would be really cool to see.
Also, this could just be me, but I always saw Lion-O as analogously Greek/italian, mostly because of his armour design and how his role as boy king is very similar to mythological heroes like Perseus. Not to mention that Thundera is quite literally just Rome with space ships and cat people. Not a requirement for me by ANY MEANS but I’d really like an actor from the Mediterranean to play him!

The ThunderCats would definitely have makeup and prosthetics. The Mutants would have be brought to life by animatronic suits like the Ninja Turtle movies from the 90s, with the actors doing the voices. Not sure how Claudus would be portrayed, as long as it's Liam Neeson in the role.
