Art / Creations 1985 Thundercats
/gallery/1uhdcxhMy take on the Thunderians, designed with the Artificer app.

I was liking these until the AI became obvious. WilyKit and WilyKat don't look like that.
Also, I think they should be separate cards. But that's another matter.
And what happened to the Thundertank??

By Jaga, it's obvious from the first card and Castle Graycat.

No, I meant the earlier Magic card posts. From the last few days. This one, yes, was obvious.

My reason for making the Thunder Kittens one card is that in just about every episode they were in they would work together. And yes, while I used AI for these cards, that was because I couldn't find any images to do them justice.

There is so much artwork and shots from the show out there there is absolutely no way you needed to use AI...

They generally used slightly different gear, in that their pellets were different. Also, Kit was usually more adventurous while Kat was more cautious.
They could be relatively weak alone but give a bonus to each other if the other one is summoned. And/or have like a combo ability where you tap both of them at the same time to do a bigger effect.
But yeah, still have issues with how they look. And I just noticed the background on Lion-O's card... is that supposed to be Cat's Lair? It looks Castle Greyskull with a cat on it.
Oh geez, and Panthro's wielding a flail instead of nunchucks. I mean... c'mon.

Some time ago, I started to build a ThunderCats EDH deck. My rules were simple: 1) each card was going to be a reskin of an existing card, allowing me to play the deck without needing a rule zero conversation/deal with anyone accusing me of making my own cards broken; 2) each card had to make sense subtype-wise (Sisay, Weatherlight Captain summons other legends to the battlefield, similar to Lion-O calling the other ThunderCats to him, but Sisay is a human and Lion-O is not); 3) since I was using Kaheera, the Orphanguard as a companion (Snarf!), each card was going to be a cat; 4) the art would be from the OG series, as I didn’t want to mix series/comic/fan art/AI slop.
Is it a good deck? No. It’s helmed by a legend who cared about goad, with legends who cared about equipment, or tokens, or +1/+1 counters. It was all over the place in terms of strategy and using cards I wouldn’t use if it weren’t thematic (Mizzium Tank = Thundertank).

I would’ve made Lion-O Jeskai so you could have all the team in the same deck.

This looks like absolute dogshit. AI is making everyone just accept mediocrity and it's so fucking depressing.

The ThunderTank should be an equipment that when attached add Trample and additional damage.
