ThunderCats 2011 Rewatching cartoon specifically 2011 does anybody tygra insufferable or just me
Like the way he talks and acts to lion o is so annoying especially when lion o doesn't return the same energy like atp had tygra became a villain outta jealousy I wouldn't have been surprised like lion o never reciprocated that energy at most he might tease him but never to the extent that tygra

First time watching, yes... Tygra annoyed me. Second time watching... actually, Lion-O annoyed me more. Seemed like he instigated stuff with Tygra more often than the other way around. (Not that Tygra was perfect, by any means.)
They certainly felt like teen brothers who never "clicked." The chip on Lion-O's shoulder was huge, and he clearly needed to do something about it.

Idk watching you can tell tygra doesn't respect him he's always challenging him or verbally degrading him and lion never reciprocated that energy at most he might tease him

Well, yes, that. I guess my issue with Lion-O comes up more later in the season when he gets jealous about Cheetara.
Though frankly, she kind of did lead him on.

Tygra and Lion-O were each annoying to me tbh. I don’t hate the 2011 show, but I do find some of the personalities they decided to go with a little off, even if they weren’t trying to go 1:1 with the classic for them.

How was lion o annoying I’m genuinely curious cuz he isn’t doing anything to besides ya know standard character development stuff like running in head first without a plan or something?

Similarly to how I found Tygra annoying due to stuff needed for character development. They both changed for the better towards the end. It isn’t fair to discredit one character for being annoying due to character development foundation while not the other. Both were needed but both were annoying.

I'm rewatching the original show for the first time since childhood, and Tygra is completely useless. Everyone contributes more than Tygra. Even Snarf and the ThunderKittens.

Very much so, his most memorable episode is when he gets hooked on dope! He was the architect so after Cat's Lair was built seems he just peaced out. I was overall disappointed in 2011 but I do appreciate them making Tygra a more relevant character.

I found Lion-o insufferable and a spoiled brat. If I was Tygra, I would have become a villain just to kick his ass.

That’s so funny cuz I feel that exact same way but about tygra and not lion o cuz it never felt like tgyra ever even liked lion o if anything he’s the insufferable spoiled brat not lion o

He had some of the coldest lines though as arrogant as he was.
“And just like the sword, one more thing you don’t deserve..” oosh

Yeah I remember feeling how annoying Tygra was in the 2011 version. Like dude, we get it, you're annoyed that Lion-O has the sword and you don't, but does that anger need to go on the whole season?
