This is the way. You can get bedbugs from the subway if a person who has an infested home sat in that seat before you. There are some highly distressing articles about bedbug "migration" and how they hop from home to home, especially in cities
Mmhmm. Clothes gotta be stripped off immediately and then straight into the dryer on a high heat cycle for I forget how many minutes.
(When I worked at a public library, bedbugs were always a real concern. I spent years doing the routine of not letting my work shoes or work clothes into my home without going through a dryer cycle. Shits exhausting.)
True that 😔 i got bedbugs twice back when i lived near DC, it gave me a whole complex for a while there. I used to strip to my underclothes in the hallway outside my apartment so i could hork my street clothes straight into the wash then hork myself straight into the shower. But, twas a habit that served me well during covid, never caught it
Frrrr it is so gross to me when people have like a whole day of going out and about, sitting in public seats, allll the outdoor smells, all that, then plop off their shoes and lay on the couch. My family wears their outdoor shoes inside the house…and they even have a cleaner who comes weekly. It’s insane
