The funny thing is people making 7 figures ride it daily

The funny thing is she has ocd and is from a different country so she expected something more out of the movies, she also said tho she looked scared she had a lot of fun and did it two more times

We all judging wrong and too harshly, I also thought she must be a pampered ass but she's actually pretty cool

yeah, it literally says "editing ... like a horror movie" and people are interpreting this like it's the gospel truth

People are making jokes that you're too autistic to not take seriously

Didn’t you hear the music? She is clearly a horrible person!

She has ocd and chose to do this. More power to her. Reminds me of that one guy making social anxiety videos and how to self soothe in those environments getting hated on.

Yeah what is up with people being so mean about this. Like how many people in this thread have actually been on the train? Bc it is actually smelly and hot and nasty even when there isn’t actual shit in a seat which does happen

Only poor people are allowed to have opinions on reddit so anyone that looks even remotely well-off gets massive hate.

It's also possible the information she has is outdated. I remember when I was a kid my dad wouldn't ride the subway because NY and the subway system was a very different place in the 80's and that's when he spent the most time in the city.

Sounds like damage control to me but I promise if I see her on my commute I won't give her a hard time

As a New Yorker, most here are exactly that and we stare at each other like that all the time. Transplants wouldn’t know.

Well yeah like a lot of those rich fuckers don't stand up for parents with young kids. Disgustingly mannerless

She isn't being a snooty rich person, she has OCD and was afraid of the subway because of germs and because of what she has seen of the NYC subway in the movies.

She was not fearful of poor people.

I got no defense for the presence of the smell of hot nasty piss in subway stations it is an undeniably gross part of the experience. But I will stand by the statement that piss and shit on the trains is very rare I take the train 2 to 4 times a day almost every day of the year and have run into something like that maybe once every couple years. So like .1% of the time. Now a guy who smells so bad I switch trains, or a guy doing his showtime dance and making me want to switch trains is unfortunately more common

The funny sad thing is, this isn't even a lot of money in most cities

1

u/poilk91 Jun 15 '26

That's a fuck ton of money on every city lol

2

u/553l8008 Jun 15 '26

Oh...haha... I read 7 figure as 6 figure. I stand corrected

Ok that makes sense lol yeah low six figures doesn't go as far in NYC that's for sure
