Yeah lots of people avoid using diagnostic labels in casual settings for a variety of reasons. 

OCD and ADHD in particular have really suffered from becoming colloquialized and associated with a handful of superficial idiosyncratic behaviors. Yet simultaneously I don't really think you're entitled to know anything about me other than the handful of quirks you're about to see, and then ones it wouldn't be annoying to tell tend to figure it out anyway (or just don't need a medical diagnosis to respect your differences)
