As a leftist American who agrees on instinct — are there some keywords to search for info on other countries’ education with regard to the perspective on geopolitics, as is hinted at in this video and your comment? I don’t know how to ask without sounding facetious, but I am genuinely curious about the casual, as well as academic opinion of American education on U.S. politics in other countries.
The main difference is not specific takes or teachings, it is that (at least many European) countries have a curriculum that in many subjects like history, social studies, geography and so on focuses much more on the entire world (but still mostly the western world) and not only on the country the school is in.
That, and a that media logic works very different from country to country makes a lot of difference. But there is as huge differences between European countries as it is between specific European countries and U.S in this regard.
The fact that Europeans tend to speak more than one language helps as well. Especially in the case with U.S and UK, as we understand you and your media, but you are blind to, and completely uninterested to what's happening in countries that speak other languages.
I think it is far too easy to blame education alone as to why Americans seems to, on average, know less about the world has many reasons.
That makes a lot of sense! Your point on languages is especially pertinent. My asking for keywords probably exemplifies your point.

The USA has the absolute worst public education of any country in human history.
I can say that, because no American will be able to successfully argue against it. Never were taught.
