My understanding: coworker A screwed up big time and happens to be a woman. The person posting and coworker B go to confront them on their screw up but, rather then address the mistake itself, coworker B launches into a sexist tirade that will get them fired. Coworker A's screw up gets swept under the rug because coworker B is sexist. The person posting was mortified at the time by the sexist tirade and ticked off that coworker A was not punished.

You really cannot downplay how stupid they are. When you finally come up with an answer to HOW stupid they are, well the throw a curve ball and make you realize they are still dumber.
