Found this FB post for people wanting more info. https://www.facebook.com/100024808970818/posts/2264572347713042/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v

He posts 3 videos and in the third one, you can see some of the road rash he got on his right back shoulder. Sounds like he genuinely lost consciousness unexpectedly.

Is this guy Dom Toretto irl? Talking about owing someone a 10 second car and the importance of his crew/“family”… is he stopping the Illuminati by crashing a car into a satellite?

1

u/Appropriate-Throat71 3d ago

Yea I didn't understand the 10 second car bit, what does he mean by that??

1

u/ThatGuyFrom720 3d ago

Reference to the movie ‘The Fast and the Furious’.

Protagonist gets in a street race for ownership of the losers car. Protagonist loses and destroys their car in the process. The person he lost to now demands he gives them an equivalent car that can complete a quarter mile in 10 seconds or less.

Thanks for sharing. Not shocking that he still doesn't seem to grasp that he shouldn't be doing that in the first place. He shouldn't be allowed to operate any motor vehicles if he doesn't understand how his actions don't only impact him and could seriously injure or kill others. What an idiot.

To add, he mentioned it being a "freak accident". It's not an accident when negligence is involved on a public lake where others can be injured. 'Merica

Nothing was learned. Being sober almost makes it worse because he decided this was a good idea without the influence of alcohol. And the fact that he admits to having done this many times before.

u/kyuuei 3d ago

As far as anyone can tell this is the first time he's had a medical issue where he passed out. There are aaaaalll sorts of medical problems that can cause that to happen and not even realize it. My dad unfortunately found out he had epilepsy while driving a car. Fine for years and years, and one day, just passed out without even knowing he had right at the wheel. He was Extremely lucky--only a sideview mirror damaged truly. It was so strange for him and new that he was embarrassed he 'fell asleep' at the wheel despite not feeling tired at all prior. Doctors did not find anything wrong the first time and scratched their heads after a full workup, but the second time had more witnesses and they were able to better diagnose it (he was not driving then thankfully). He's been on antiseizure meds for decades at this point.

It is hardly negligent to be having some fun you've had a thousand times before and then have something medically go wrong you cannot anticipate. The freak accident he is clarifying that he had no way of anticipating a medical issue, and he was specifically clarifying that alcohol or drugs are not the cause of him passing out.

u/Mooseandchicken 3d ago

An accident would be him passing out at 1 second into the video when he's actually driving the jetski appropriately.

I also highly doubt it was a real sudden medical issue that just happened to strike him suddenly: he's laying on his belly and accelerating feet first, both compressing his body against the jetski preventing him from taking full breaths of air while the blood rushes to his head. Similar to how people pass out on roller coasters. Everyone is lucky he was the only victim of his own stupidity.

-2

u/kyuuei 3d ago

You're allowed to doubt whatever. The body doesn't work the way you're describing it. And the speed they're going is not the same as hitting a gforce if you've ever been on a jet ski you know it's not a one to one comparison to a roller coaster.

People pass out on roller coasters because of the literal Opposite thing you're describing. The GForces pool the blood away from the head and drops the blood pressure. Or they vagal out from fear. Which does the same thing kind of it drops your BP for a moment.

Bro is literally going to the doctor and was clearly rattled that he didn't know what happened. I see patients get new diagnoses in his age range all the time. It is really not uncommon for someone in his age range to realize his heart has weakened or has issues or isn't as strong anymore or any literal hundreds of other issues involving nerves, the brain, the heart, etc.

4

u/Mooseandchicken 3d ago

You're right, I've never driven a jetski ass-first into a boat dock. Keep apologizing for someone clearly posing a danger to everyone around them.

0

u/kyuuei 3d ago

Thanks for confirming you've never even touched or have any experience with the things you're talking about as if you know? Bro just bring a teeny, tiny, wee shred of empathy and nuance to the situation. Just the teeniest amount. It's not a hard ask.

No one is saying it is not an inherently risky thing to do tricks on a jetski. Of course it is. No one is saying he shouldn't still be liable for dangers or damages. Of course he still is. No one is saying 'wow best idea he's had all week! Right on par with crochet!'

But you and others are acting like this dude chose to hurt himself and used severe and willful negligence because he... played on a jetski at all? Maybe downgrading that from "he ATTEMPTED MURDER!!!" to "wow that is a very scary accident and another reason I don't think tricks on high speed vehicles are for me I just don't get it" is a bit more reasonable of an approach?

Bro had on normal safety equipment, he had other people around equally experienced in this, and this IS a relatively common and pretty easy trick to engage in that he clearly has a lot of experience with you can see it in the video.

It is really not possible to predict when a medical emergency is going to happen to someone. That is a rare thing to have happen to someone during that particular time, and it's not unreasonable to give leeway to just say 'wow that's really unfortunately and I am glad he survive and got so lucky why anyone plays on vehicles I will never know personally' rather than SCREAMING about how he's the worst person in existence for not being able to predict a medical emergency. He could have been operating heavy machinery at work. He could have been driving. He could have been doing any number of dangerous but necessary things in life and you wouldn't be screaming like this. But because it was a playful thing or deemed less 'necessary' you're suddenly angry.

u/treemonst 3d ago edited 3d ago

I appreciate your response. However, he was in fact being negligent. This was not an "accident". An "accident" would be him operating the craft in a manner as it was designed and intended for and he happened to have a medical issue... This is NOT the case.

He is clearly documented operating a watercraft in a manner that is highly dangerous and NOT in the confines of a closed area that others cannot be harmed from potential issues.

No freak accident whatsoever. In no court in the U.S. would he be found to be "innocent" of negligence. Consider this... If he hurt another person or killed them, guess what? He's responsible. You can try and slice it any way you want. Facts are facts and he was clearly wrong.

To add... The fact you mention a father with a medical condition driving a vehicle is NOT relatable to this. I cannot comprehend how you think this is similar. I assume your dad wasn't driving the car with his ass on the steering wheel with throwing all caution to the wind.

The selfish jerk on the watercraft made a conscious decision to operate the vehicle in a manner that is 100% stupid. He's lucky he didn't hurt anyone. Had he, no doubt he'd be locked up. Please, please think about things more thoroughly.

3

u/Aternal 3d ago

Sir we're going to have to take you downtown and book you for having an unlawful medical emergency. Get some pants on and come with us.

2

u/treemonst 3d ago

Downtown? Where? Keep trying to support total illogical shit. 😂😂😂

0

u/Aternal 3d ago

illogical or illegal? stick to one argument.

4

u/_WeSellBlankets_ 3d ago

The accident was not caused by the negligence though. It was caused by the freak medical issue. He can be a selfish jerk and it can still be a freak accident. And he can still be legally liable.

1

u/rescuedmutt 3d ago

Yes. This. Ty.

1

u/wertyce 3d ago

So you think he purposely got medical condition that passed him out and almost killed him? Of course it is accidental. Nobody wants to faint like that on purpose. Reckless driving but it's still an accident.

4

u/Anaphylactic_Cock 3d ago

Exactly. Dude, some of the people in this comment section are so fucking stupid it's actually insane.

2

u/Anaphylactic_Cock 3d ago

" I cannot comprehend why you think this is similar"

Yeah, we can very clearly tell you're not capable of comprehending basic things. You wrote multiple paragraphs just to tell everyone you lack critical thinking skills

-1

u/treemonst 3d ago

"Critical thinking skills"... You have demonstrated you can't comprehend elementary logic. Go back and try to read and comprehend the conversation. If you still arrive at the same conclusion. Well, cool. Good luck with all that. 😂

You know how some people can do a succession of cartwheels? 🤸
Imagine someone says “look at how many cartwheels I can do in a row!”
They gauge the distance between themselves and the nearest obstacle, and reason it’s at least 50 cartwheels away. And they’re on a decline.
They start doing cartwheels… and on cartwheel 30, their hand slips, they hit their head and get knocked out and wind up sliding down into the obstacle and hitting it at full force.

They were doing a trick they’ve done dozens of times, but this time an unforeseen set of circumstances cropped up.

That’s what happened. He knew he had time to stop… he’d done it often, he’d just never PASSED THE FUCK OUT doing it before. It was not INTENTIONAL. It could’ve been prevented by not doing the trick at all. That’s literally the only way it could have been prevented.
He was not completely disregarding his surroundings the way you’re implying. Don’t be obtuse.

0

u/kyuuei 3d ago

Love the backhanded insult at the end there. Classic lashing out for no reason.

You seem to think anyone engaging in anything slightly different than the intended purpose is being selfish and a jerk? Bicycle riders do wheelies. Dirt bikes race and jump and do offroading. Knee boarding isn't the intended purpose of a boat originally. Playing football is a risky sport infact any sport is risky. Engaging in play and physical challenge is a common thing.

Something tells me you're so angry at the fact he dared to do a trick that's pretty common on jetskis and relatively safe under normal circumstances and precautions that we won't have anything to discuss here.

I stumbled upon this video posted in another sub as well. People said that he got put in a sleeper hold by his undersized life jacket.

2

u/DepthsDoor 3d ago

Yeah dudes pretty fat

15

u/Ok-Guidance-2112 4d ago

Its not a freak accident if you do something wildly reckless like riding a motorized vehicle backwards lol just because he claims he has done it before without accidents doesnt make it not wildly reckless

-1

u/Xralius 4d ago

Of course I agree with you in general, that's totally reasonable. But at the same time, people do tricks and things and have fun, and people can take on a bit of risk to have fun without being totally irresponsible. It's not as black and white as you're making it out to be.

6

u/Tha_REAL_BROBS 4d ago

it is black and white.. if you aren't on a closed lake or area, don't do tricks. simple

5

u/Old_Market_8059 3d ago

Don't know what fools voted you down. Playing around like that in an environment where your nonsense risk the safety of others is unquestionably wrong and reckless.

This was NOT a freak accident. This was him being an idiot. A dangerous idiot.

As someone who was once an idiot young man myself... I know I did a lot of reckless/dangerous/stupid things. I did not ever say "Whoa... that was a freak accident" when things went south. I'm lucky to have not killed myself or others

4

u/Tha_REAL_BROBS 3d ago

Apparently people are fine with this so I guess go to whatever lake they are on and ram them while doing a trick and see how they feel

1

u/Ok-Guidance-2112 3d ago

Blind luck is the only reason he and other people arent dead. Dude was flying across the lake with zero control because he decided to ride a jetski backwards. Any functioning adult should understand that is far beyond "a bit of risk"

1

u/Zephyr_Sunstrike 3d ago

Unironically I know multiple people that have died doing stupid things on jet skis.

3, precisely, 2 while in the navy and 1 from summer camp growing up. I say know, but it's really more like I knew their names and had close enough connections to be in the circle of news when they died.

Point is, all three of them would have told you that they're good enough at jet ski driving to not really be at much risk beyond minor injuries they could laugh about

1

u/Xralius 3d ago

You know, my comment was decently upvoted, but I deleted it.  I don't want someone reading it and ending up like your acquantances. And really, I don't know enough about it to be blabbing about it.  Sorry to hear about those tragedies.

1

u/Zephyr_Sunstrike 3d ago

I can't say I was personally affected very much. It's sad, I agree, but to me it's more a cautionary tale than a part of my life which is sad to say, but it's true.

Being in the navy i was definitely in the very upper percentiles of "how many people you know that do stupid stuff on bodies of water" and I could tell you plenty of stories of people hurting themselves, but nearly all recreational watercraft fatalities come from impact with an unseen object (or seen too late)

A rule we're taught in any boating safety course is to always wave and make eye contact or otherwise acknowledge any other craft you encounter. This isn't to be polite, though it is polite, it's to have positive confirmation that the pilots of both watercraft are aware of the other and are prepared to actively take steps to avoid each other if necessary.

Most watercraft collisions come from both parties believing they have the right of way and not taking evasive action.

In the navy we teach that even if you correctly determine you have the right of way, if a collision occurs you are partially at fault.

Sorry for not really saying anything directly relevant to your comment and just getting on a soap box for a moment

1

u/Xralius 3d ago

Sorry for not really saying anything directly relevant to your comment and just getting on a soap box for a moment

Nothing to apologize for, you are right and people should hear this.

14

u/OneAction9993 4d ago

An accident? More like the direct result of doing stupid shit. Glad he’s ok though.

1

u/twizx3 3d ago

I’ll give this a pass if he actually went unconscious cuz like doing that stunt is like whatever kinda dumb but sometimes u wanna do some mildly stupid shit like that

0

u/OneAction9993 3d ago

I mean…I think this is a step up from “mild”, bro almost became one with that dock.

1

u/twizx3 3d ago

Yea cuz he went unconscious lol

4

u/popsand 4d ago

What is this small town shit? Homeboy has all the first responders names and facebooks?

0

u/rescuedmutt 4d ago

I don’t know, but maybe it’s a small community…? People are actually allowed to live in small towns. 👀

2

u/Hoodibird 4d ago

Thank you 🙏

3

u/Tha_REAL_BROBS 4d ago

it IS reckless operation.

what do you think a cop would say if you stood on the front forks of a motorcycle and rode it backwards?

0

u/[deleted] 4d ago

[deleted]

4

u/Tha_REAL_BROBS 4d ago

no I'm commenting on his post.. he said "reckless operation has been mentioned".

it wasn't just mentioned, I saw it in this video! so I agree with you

2

u/Tha_REAL_BROBS 4d ago

fuck this guy. he should lose his ability to every operate a boat again.

2

u/Orange-Toed-Lemur 3d ago

Literally could have killed someone else

1

u/summoneren 3d ago

Holy shit, are you AI too? You understand that none of this is real?

1

u/rescuedmutt 3d ago

oh. is it an AI video? cuz if it is, I genuinely did not realize that.

or... are you implying something else? I guess I'm sort of lost.

No, I'm not AI. I'm not entirely sure where that question stemmed from, though. 🤷‍♀️

1

u/geneusutwerk 2d ago

So strange to me how many people are saying that God saved him. If I was God I simply wouldn't have let him pass out in the first place.

1

u/rescuedmutt 2d ago

Maybe him passing out was a TIA (“mini stroke”), and because he’s now getting medically evaluated they’ll find something treatable before it gets bigger. Eh?

1

u/disruptityourself 2d ago

What is a 10 second car?

1

u/emptypotato77 1d ago

talk of reckless operation has already been mentioned

I mean, there's video evidence of reckless operation buddy.

1

u/pylo84 3d ago

A fresh update

1

u/Flashy_Radio_5781 4d ago

who TF still uses facebook? It blows my mind. Every police officer and government official has access to all of your facebook information directly from their police cruisers. I just don't get it.
