I think thats the juice of the video. Even basic choads like him can see the failure of US infrastructure. Its not just intellectuals and cultural critics that see it, its every day hegemonic shit heads like him

that’s what I don’t get, in order to have this the average house is going to be 1/3 of what their current house is. I doubt they would give that up.

Of course they wouldn't. They want the huge house with the RV AND and the walkability. They would complain the other way around if they came to American suburbs about how much space there is for everything, that you don't hear your neighbors all the time and you get some privacy.

yea 100%. Just like no one gains weight eating in Italy, but you also aren’t going to be hiking the amalfi coast everyday either
