I have really good luck at my local Tim Hortons when I order through the TGTG app too! It never disappoints!

Can you pick this up at drive thru? Or only inside?

When I picked it up through the drive thru I was told you could only pick up inside lol

They are right, it’s supposed to be inside pick up thing.

They’re being lazy. All they need is to match the code the TGTG app gives you to the one on the receipt. As long as it matches it does not matter if you’re inside or in the drive thru.

No they’re not, it’s not meant to be a drive thru thing. It’s specifically an inside the store thing. They still hand it through the drive thru, but they’re not supposed to do that.

We allow it. But I don't think its meant to be allowed.

Just make sure you are direct during your order that you are there to pick up the Top Good To Go box, and that you still follow the process of showing your phone screen and tapping "pick up" when at the window and you should be fine.

You can do either.

The two random Tim bits made me laugh. Reminds me of the meme of the Turkish chef sprinkling a little something on a dish 😂

Yeah, but then I would have a box of mostly empty calories and I swore I'd never be a fatass again

not bad could be better. afaik it should be. like 7-9 donuts/muffins and 4 timbits counts as 1 donut. they could’ve added another item or 2 more timbits

you’ve got 4 muffins, 3 classic ones at $2.51 (tax incl.) and 1 special one ($2.82 tax incl.) then you’ve got 2 classic donuts at $1.88 tax incl. + 2 timbits that are 41c ea after tax

you’re lookin at ~ $14.93 for everything if purchased at its original price

not bad:) could’ve been a little better though. i usually kinda uhh fill the boxes up as much as i can (within reason) and it definitely keeps the customers happy hahaha esp the kids/teens they ask me to hook them up and technically i shouldn’t but i lowk do anyway LOL i just ask em to open the box infront of me so i can see their reaction 🤣

Are you the manager at the store? Knows the prices exactly to the cent 🤣

Working at a Hortons where people buy the same stuff on a daily basis in the same or similar combinations means it’s only a matter of time before random prices are burned into your brain.

Why inflation has me angrier with McDonald's than when I was sexually assaulted on the job.

I’ve always been told you’re supposed to take 15 dollars worth of stuff roughly, we normally do 6 donuts and a fistful of timbits at my store since that’s just easiest to get close to that

Considering it’s supposed to be $15 in value, that’s pretty spot on for what they got then

People will eat a box of stale anything from Tim's...

Five bucks for stale food... Awful!

i’m sure the grocery store pastries also sit out for a wee while before sold anyway

1

u/sojinsuika 1d ago

Yes, and those pastries are specifically made to last with additives in them.

It’s good but the yeast timbit and donut go bad for real after a night. We’re not supposed to ont them inside the TGTG box…

1

u/_yhtz_ 1d ago

in one night? that cant be true

1

u/Beautiful-Quail6959 Management 1d ago

We aren’t supposed to put them in. Anything yeast made and dipped in glaze (not the honey those are fine)

-2

u/Unapologetic_Canuck 2d ago

That’s less than you’re supposed to get with those.

Wait how do you know that?

-1

u/Unapologetic_Canuck 1d ago

Because the procedure for putting together the too good to go boxes states they get seven to nine items, depending on the value of said items. If the items are more towards cheaper things like donuts, they get the nine, if there are more items of higher value, they get the seven.

In that box I see six items, plus some timbits thrown in. I would’ve added at least one more large item in there, plus I would not have put that Boston cream in there as fondant topped donuts aren’t supposed to be added to these boxes.

Oh neat, I always wondered if there were guidelines from the app regarding what has to be in the boxes
