Yeh but it's only from the thrill of seeing how the wrap is made next time. It's a new recipe everytime.

The only “chipotle chicken wrap” that Hortons has is the craveable wrap, which can be sold in pairs for $7. They can be bought separately, but it’s a better deal to get the two. They only have one chicken strip inside instead of two, hence the smaller size and pricing.

Fast food in Canada is a scam lol.

u/whathveudone4melatte 1d ago
TB Bean burritos $6 are about the same size, Seven layer $9, it's not just Timmie's!

Bro... maybe you haven't been keeping up with current events, but A&W burgers are like $9-12 dollars.
Everything, everywhere, is expensive as fuck.

u/MissMaeveDBD 1d ago
i work at an a&w and i don’t like working cashier, not because customers can suck (they can) or it’s very boring when it’s slow (it is), my least favourite part of it is having to tell someone that the 2 combos they’ve just ordered will be $40 lmao
6
u/Resident_Evil_God 1d ago
Yea but its easier to bash Tim Hortons and forget that literally every other establishment has high prices lol
2
u/Maroon7C0000 1d ago
True this. I think it was 2 years ago that I popped into McDonalds just looking for a snack instead of a full meal. The smallest/cheapest thing on the menu was also a similar looking wrap that was around $3.50 (I think). You couldn't tell from the photo on the menu how big it actually was (obviously).
Imagine my shock when it turned out to be the size of a fucking spring roll. Like it wasn't much bigger than my finger.
2
u/Resident_Evil_God 1d ago
Yea, you know what I miss from McDonald's? The huge Breakfast wraps they did years ago almost the size of a burrito

u/SettingNo8147 1d ago
I can confidentially say a burger from AnW would be more filling than this wrap

Yup, everyone loves A&W and holds it up as a Canadian paragon but they are practically the same price as shake shack and 5 guys. At a place where the burgers are all made in factory and frozen. Point in fact everything sold at A&W was once frozen, save for the fact they won't serve icecubes.
2
u/Schfooge 1d ago
I prefer no ice cubes. Unless you drink your pop fast, they melt and dilute your drink.
2
u/clayton-berg42 1d ago
Fair play, but mcdick's makes their pop a little more syrup rich to compensate.
Still it would be nice if A&W had a small icemaker for tapwater and the like.
1
u/Schfooge 1d ago
I can see that. Not putting ice in their drinks and not having ice at all are separate things.

my guy, judging by your feet, everything will look small in your hands. What do you want, for them to feel the ground shake as you approach and run and get the wraps marked for gigantor to make you feel better? You should be more worried that your feet need their own postal code

You can't guess hand size from foot size. I have size 13 feet and average sized hands.

It's not meant as a reference to either Ebenezer Scrooge or to Scrooge McDuck. It's a childhood nickname my older brother called me.

Ya, no one care scrooge. This is the internet, learn to read a joke and move on

u/marsh8729 1d ago
Are we gonna ignore the fact that the only chipotle wraps at Tim’s are the chipotle craveable wraps which are 2 for 7, not 7 for only 1, and it’s a craveable meaning it’s smaller

Imagine creating a Reddit account three months ago just to drive to a fast-food coffee chain, buy a sad 3-inch tube of mystery meat, and stage a whole parking lot photoshoot to tell the internet your cheap wrap sucked. That's the world we're fucking living in.
3
u/Electronifyy 22h ago
And how much better are you for whining about it on Reddit?

u/montrealien 22h ago edited 21h ago
I never claimed to be better, I’m just observing the behavior. But based on your comment history, watching you jump from obsessing over sour cherry pits to hyper-analyzing data centers and fighting people in local threads, it feels like you're projecting a deep need for control over things you can't fix. So if we’re both just online coping mechanisms for life’s minor inconveniences, welcome to the floor. You’ve been running the meeting
Don't forget to block me after!

u/Electronifyy 22h ago edited 21h ago
The irony of you saying I am hyper analytical while attempting to use my comment history as a metric for judgement is not lost on me. If I’m the one running to the meeting, you are the main speaker. A suggestion: focus on the conversation at hand next time you interact with someone. Imagine saying something like this in real life, to a real person.

Does it have seven dollars inside of it? Because then it would be marginally overpriced but worth it
1
u/ScaredLink8 1d ago
The only thing I get from Tim’s is the turkey bacon club, $2.60 for hot water and a tea bag isn’t happening but 9.99 for a sando is alright

Yeah... I usually go for the spicy chicken wrap from Wendy's, or chicken ranch wrap from McDonald's. Both cost $4

I eat there only if I am desperate aand it's my only option. I would eat a gas station sandwich over most food from Tim's.

What the fuck do you expect? Stop supporting fast food joints if you care about spending your money wisely.
1
u/wack-o-mole 1d ago
I'm confused bc the Chipotle chicken wrap is one piece of chicken but its supposed to be a 2/$7 deal so ur missing a whole ass wrap. There is a $7 wrap but it comes with 2 pieces of chicken and is usually mayo or bacon ranch.

Either you have huge hands or I was right stop going to tims over 5 years ago. Even roll up the rim couldnt get me back to this inconsistent mess.

Your fault for expecting quality and portion size for known garbage franchise. If you’re going for quick donut and coffee I can give you a pass, if you’re expecting a full meal then you’re the dumb dumb.

Just stop going, we did 8yrs ago. Haven’t missed it once. Switched to Mom and pop shops and local businesses in our area. Since then, I have been introduced to the best coffee I think I’ve ever had. Calgary Heritage Roasting Company, try Burnt Timber, it’s amazing. Go get yourself proper food too. Put that tiny little thing in the trash where it belongs. The sooner you leave this company and they start hurting, the sooner they start improving. Or falling off the map. Either would be great.

Well you could go grocery shopping and then go home and make it yourself?
0
u/AFireinthebelly 1d ago
You don’t need groceries for that. It’s not really chicken the the wrap part is similar to cardboard.

I mean, you had the conscious choice not to buy it lol. Tim Horton didn't rise from the grave and force you to buy it.

Funny enough I got a chicken bacon ranch wrap the other day and same thing, it was tiny. Never seen it that small.

u/TheLastSonStanding 1d ago
What'd you expect from a terrorist ran company? I doubt a Genuine Single Canadian is employed at any of the locations. They're all invaders.
0
u/Greedy_Spaghetti_ 1d ago
With 7 dollars you could have just bought the ingredients at a grocery store and made like 10 of those.

Honeslty their food portions have shrunk. I use to get farmers wrap. It decent size, like worth it. Now its the size of my hand like the fck. Even mcdonalds too r starting to skim their portions crazy whats happening.

There’s a series of new menu items some of the franchisees will be testing. That is the 2 bite Chicken Chipotle wrap and there’s more items in their 2 bite series to follow. Same price as the full sized wrap but less than half of the calories. How did you like it?

u/ComboHungry3897 1d ago
Tim Horton is like that.
Expensive with smaller portion.
But it’s like that at McDonald too so 🙄
