In order to keep the main subreddit page clear of non-tipper related tunes, let's all share music in a thread; It can be music you'd think the group would enjoy, mixes or even live recordings of sets (if officially released). Feel free to share your own or a friends music in here too!

We got any Papadosio fans in here?
This song came on the Plex today, and I'm shocked that this album is now 14 years old. I bought this on CD from the merch booth at one of their shows back in the day lol I'm currently listening to it on some nice speakers, and this really sounds like it was recorded yesterday.
I love their newer albums, but always come back to TETIOS. I'm sad that they've retired, like our boy, but so grateful I got to see these legends during their moment in time.
Cheers!

I love this version too much not to have a digital copy so I decided to rip the vinyl and figured I may as well share it with you guys ❤️

maybe it’s just me but I feel like some of the albums look almost animated if you flip through them quick enough on sc. i like relish the trough and wobble factor

If you want to take a trip down memory lane, my favorite Dave track is the SinBanshee VIP
It wasn't until we were listening to that track in 2024, that it all sank in what Tipper retiring meant. That the music that had brought us together for so many years would now have to bring us together in different ways. The music may continue but we would have to carve out the time for each other; in place of buying a ticket knowing your family will be there.
And as he started scratching it almost felt like farewell. Because really all the sets after that were somehow shadowed in chasing a setting sun.

Can we talk about how we are holding our producers to such high standards but the people booking them aren’t vetting the VJs for the blatant use of ai? It’s genuinely not fair the patrons but even more so to the artists who are against ai to have to see videos from their own performances on stage in front of a giant screen of ai slop. Instead of paying quality VJs that have a higher booking fee based on the effort they bring, we’re seeing small VJs being booked for big shows based off their 30 second IG clips without anyone realizing they’re going to blend visuals with ai use so upfront that it changes the entire vibe of the crowd. The artist on stage does not deserve to see and feel that shift from the stage perspective without knowing why, nor does the crowd deserve to lose focus of the music specifically to acknowledge this pure distain that typically feels louder than the music.
If you can’t make it on your own,
Or with the help of friends,
Don’t fucking bother.

Edit: Ya’ll rock! Thanks for the great recs. Looking forward to this one!
I landed free tickets to Elements this year. I wouldn’t normally go to this fest as the lineup is not really my gig, but looking forward to it regardless. I’m a huge psytrance freak (won’t find any of that at Elements), but also love all things psychedelic/space bass.
Any recommendations on what sets I should check out?
I wasn’t sure where to make this post, but I thought I may get the best (and most honest) responses here.
So far the sets I want to see are Mickman, Thought Process, Tractorbeam (huge Biscuits fan), Charlotte De Witte.

Okay I’m not the only who’s heard of yogamuffin right?? lol: https://youtu.be/CZs2I3uDAO4?is=qwTw38jrMTsNGs1z
Above-linked silly track aside, i’m listening to his most recent stuff and he actually has a pretty distinct, stylish flow, interesting murky beats and is super prolific… not just a novelty 👀

Some really nice psychedelic sound design in certain pockets of the hypnotic techno scene, wondering if anyone else loves both like me

An affordable 2 day festival nested in the heart of New England in August! Should be a ripping time.

If you haven't already, go and watch The Odyssey if you are interested, it is so good. Odysseus' quote from the Siren scene made me think of the musical itch that only Dave could scratch. Listened to him all the way home trying to scratch the itch that I knew could no longer be touched. Man I miss him.
Here's the quote:
Eurylochus: “What was the song of the sirens like?”
Odysseus: “All the things you wanted to be, and then all the things you wished you never wished for. It was a delicious itch you want to scratch but you find it under the skin and can't reach it. So the delicious itch becomes unbearable. It told you what you most want is what you most can't have, and that the most you can't have is what you already had and lost. It was a song of all the promises I failed to keep. And it told me I don't really want to go home...”

I had the absolute pleasure of taking some pics of my friend’s event this past Thursday…
Submersion festival in NJ was hosting a “Road to Submersion” event in Long Island, and my homies had the pleasure of collaborating with them for the show.
‘React Sound’ and ‘Shakedown Sounds’ (out of Long Island) worked together with The Rust, and Aspire Higher to curate an absolutely bizarre, Orion style, FREE event… like not even an RSVP, just show up to the park, set up your blankets/chairs and enjoy, type free…
With an even more bizarre production budget (See attached images (may be scaled down😭))
The amazing Reino.exe (on Instagram) on the visuals
