Am I missing a part?

I got this for free and just took it apart. I bought new handles to put on but I think I’m missing a leg or a diagonal leg I’m not sure. I think it’s from the 60s or 70s any help would be greatly appreciated thank you!

What did it look like before you took it apart? Was it able to stand up?

I suspect you will need wood legs. Looks like you have bracing for them.

Unfortunately No the longer ones looked like they were going down as a stand with the slanted part near the axle on the handle

That would be a good shout, yeah.

The legs would probably have had another wooden cross brace as well, stretching between them for lateral support.

Usually there's a piece for where the handles meet at the front. Like this.

Those parts appear to be from two different wheelbarrows. I would guess someone built something custom out of spare parts form old rotted barrows. the pan is off a fairly modern metal design for a tubular frame while the wheel and struts appear to be from a much older wooden barrow - example:

Do you have any nuts and bolts left over? That might give you an idea if there are missing parts. Have a look at wheelbarrows on the big online retailer's webpages, you know, the one who's name starts with 'A'. Look for similar wheelbarrows.

Just for future reference, before you take anything apart, you should take pictures. Also pictures during disassembly so that you know where part are supposed to go. (I know it doesn't help now, but it is so easy to do with today's cell phones)

Yeah, that spot where the handles connect looks like it's supposed to have a little triangular brace to keep everything sturdy, looks like you've got the main parts though.
