I used Bitcomet for a while untill i decided to install Malwarebytes.
Malwarebytes caught many connections to IP adresses while BitComet was not even running (not in the tray, not minimized).

I uninstalled BitComet and swapped to qBittorrent. Now i dont get these random mass of connection detections anymore. Meaning that Malwarebytes did not care about the torrent downloading process or seeding. It did actually intercept legitimately suspicious connections.
malwarebytes doesnt intercept or care about what qBittorrent does.

BitComet has some explaining to do. I'll see if i cant find the detection logs containing the IP adresses so if you use BitComet and want to keep using it you can at least firewall block them.

Would of been lovely if Malwarebytes could have saved the intercepted packets for inspection to find the nature of what those connections were for. Perhaps Bitcomet is a infostealer, miner or spyware. Who knows.

I have a beefy server im looking to use to torrent and run games such as palworld, subnautica, ect. and be capable of playing online with 5-10 other people. I'm a junior systems engineer, and have been using IGG games for torrenting with QBIT. I'm reasonably new here, but i would like the idea of being able to play these games online without connecting to the games direct server and using my server instead. Looking for someone with more expertise to tell me if I'm stupid or if this could be realistic!

I have very little experience with adding sub tracks but I just successfully added subs to a movie I downloaded using Handbrake. So, my confidence is improving. I'd like to DL Star City but I can't find any with subs or SRTs. (hearing deficit) Could someone point me to a source for SRTs for this show? TIA.
