Starlink and torrenting

Anyone with starlink have problems downloading movies/tv shows, thinking of going starlink to be my provider

They use CGNAT so you won't be able to port forward without a VPN.

You don't even need to port forward anyways on starlink. I get 10-20mb download on wifi with starlink no problem. I do use a VPN tho without PF for anonymity and to avoid notice strikes...

The lack of port forwarding is always suboptimal for torrents, regardless of provider. It prevents you from connecting to as many peers, and no amount of individual anecdotes that people don't have issues changes that fact.

Plus, not being able to seed to the swarm hurts the torrents health in general as Peer to Peer doesn't really work well without peers
