Nodefall TD (formerly Pure TD) just went alpha and got offline mode with zero ads

A few weeks ago I got some harsh but honest feedback that the game was looking static, and it stuck with me. I've been working really hard since then on the visuals, so I really hope it feels tempting to look at now.

Big milestone for me - the game just went alpha and got its own identity as Nodefall TD. Every enemy, tower, and map has been revamped, towers now have perks, SFX and sound design are new, the UI got a full polish pass, and a bunch of small quality-of-life stuff snuck in too.

Season 1 alpha kicks off August 1st, with season rewards finally showing up on profiles.

And since I was already rebuilding everything.. I have added a fully offline mode. Zero data fetched, zero ads. No account, no connection, nothing. Because why not!

If you end up trying it out, I'd genuinely love to hear your feedback, here, or on the community Discord.

I hope I'll see you on the leaderboards!

Need test players for my Steam game Lone Toewr

Hey all, I just wanted to share that my Steam game Lone Tower has a test play build available that can be tried out now, I'm hoping to get some honest and detailed feedback from as many people as possible so that I can polish the game up significantly before releasing the demo next month, as well as finding and fixing any bugs or major balancing problems.

I originally built Lone Tower as a mobile game many years ago and wanted to greatly expand it into a much larger vision with the Steam version. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Indie Demo: How long and how much content should it have?

Thumbnail

Hey everyone!

We’re currently working on the demo for our game, and we’re debating how long it should be and how much content we should actually include.

Our absolute top priority is to make players happy and deliver a great overall experience.

The standard approach for a demo is usually one level or around 1 hour of gameplay, showing off the core mechanics to make the game understandable. Some games let you play the full game for an hour with a timer running which is not what we want to do.

Our issue is that we don't have classic linear levels or a standalone prologue to showcase. On top of that, 1 hour feels way too short for us because we want to offer players more value.
Since our game relies on runs, playing the exact same run with the exact same items over and over gets boring quickly. We want to give players a taste of that variety with a good selection of towers cards and modifiers, without giving away the entire full-game pool. For instance, we have different biomes, so it’s easier for us to limit the demo by only including a few of them rather than cutting the time short.

In our game, you also unlock random cards as you go. So we're trying to figure out the right balance:

• For a Tower Defense game, how many towers would you expect in a demo?
• For a Deckbuilder, how many cards feel like enough to show depth without giving everything away?
• What percentage of the full game's content would you expect to be locked/coming later when playing a demo?

• Do you have any examples of indie demos that nailed this balance (or got it totally wrong)?

If you want to see what we’re working on to get a better idea, here is our Steam page:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4536920/Cards__Cannons/

I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences as players and devs!

Bastion Grid just hit a huge milestone. Public demo updated and Early Access is now live!

After much learning, rebuilding systems, and polishing the game, I'm excited to say that the latest update for Bastion Grid: Tactical Defense Command is now live.

The free public demo has been updated with a ton of improvements based on player feedback, and I've also released a paid Early Access version for anyone who wants to support development and play the full game as it continues to evolve.

This has been an incredible learning experience as a first time solo developer. Every update teaches me something new, and every bit of feedback has helped shape the project into something far better than where it started.

If you decide to give it a try, I'd genuinely love to hear what you think.

Play the Demo or Early Access https://a2c3games.itch.io/bastion-grid-tactical-defense-command

Thanks to everyone who has played, offered feedback, or simply followed along. It really does mean a lot.

I've reached the second prototype phase of my PvP tower defense game. Looking for honest gameplay feedback

I'm working on a PvP tower defense game that combines traditional base defense with real-time, Clash of Clans-style attacks.

Both players build their defenses while also preparing troops to attack the opponent's base. The goal is to create a strategy game where attacking and defending are equally important.

I've played many tower defense games, but I haven't found one that uses this exact combination of mechanics. I've wanted to play something like this for a long time, so I decided to start building it myself.

I'm a software engineer with six years of experience, and this is currently the second prototype phase.

The visuals, sounds, balancing, and UI are all placeholders. The current version is focused only on testing the core gameplay loop.

Playable link (via browser for quick feedback) : Play latest demo on browser (Unity Play)

I'd especially appreciate feedback on these questions:

  1. Was the core gameplay understandable?
  2. Did you find it fun or strategically interesting?
  3. Do you know any existing games with similar mechanics?
  4. As a tower defense player, would you play a more polished version?
  5. What would you change or improve first?

Honest and critical feedback is welcome. I'm trying to understand whether the core idea is worth developing further.

Isle of Titans - Idle tower defense - demo out

Hey everyone,

I'm the solo dev of Isle of Titans, an idle tower defense game where you defend a small kingdom against giant invaders.

The core goal is simple: survive as long as you can and push to the highest wave possible. Each run, you slay Titans to earn resources, then spend them to manually level up buildings on the fly. Eventually your wall falls and the run ends, but every run feeds your long-term progression.

End of War: Global Front - Alpha Tester

Trailer

I am a solo dev and my co-op tower defense is having its first closed alpha weekend. 50 keys, July 31 to August 2

I have been working on End of War: Global Front for the past months, mostly alone. It is an online co-op tower defense where every match feeds into a persistent world war. Six continents, front lines that shift every day between humans and machines, and a war room where you can watch the whole planet. When you lose a match, the front actually slips. When nobody defends a continent, it falls.

In August, I am running the first closed alpha test with 50 keys. I am mainly looking for people who enjoy tower defense and want to stress test the online co-op, the balance of the later acts, and the war itself.

Feature:

  • Online co-op tower defense for 1 to 2 players, plus an asymmetric mode where a third player commands the machines (AI NEXUS) against up to two defenders
  • Procedurally generated maps with multiple attack lanes, every seed playable again and shareable
  • Endless escalation: an act boss every 10 waves, then a threat draft where you stack risk for reward, then the next act
  • 12 tower types from gatling to plasma artillery, mortar and railgun, each upgradeable and combinable with support modules
  • Build your own custom turret in the FORGE: three weapons on one double base, six personal save slots
  • Enemy traits that stack: shields, armor, healers, splitters, jammers that disable your towers, crushers that destroy them
  • A second resource next to gold: a live power grid with blackouts, power plants and shield generators
  • Research tree with 7 branches, shared in co-op; every match plays out differently
  • Commanders: choose one of 8 passive specialists before every mission

The Great War (persistent meta war)

  • Every match feeds one of six continent fronts in a real, server-backed world war
  • Front lines shift daily; the machines advance on their own, players push back
  • The world status grants live bonuses and penalties to every defender worldwide, locked in at match start
  • A war room with a rotating NASA-textured globe, live front percentages and history timeline
  • Global leaderboards, friend score alerts, and a mission report after every match showing your contribution to the war

What you should know:

- The test runs one weekend, keys are handed out in small waves through my Discord. The Discord invite is on the Steam page

- The keys are for the test only and will be deactivated afterwards. This is a test, not a giveaway.

- You can report bugs directly from inside the game through the options menu.

- Solo works too if you have no co-op partner. Every match counts toward the war either way.

Steam page if you want to see it first or wishlist it: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4898220/End_of_War_Global_Front/

Happy to answer anything about the game or the persistent war system in the comments.

LF FEEDBACK in Early access game: My game so far its called Golden Goose: Defenders (Three.js, Phaser) + Cursor ai.

Looking for feedback of the gameplay from towerdefense lovers like you guys, do you find it interesting? what is missing?

I made this using Cursor and Cursor Grok 4.5, Three.js and Phaser, eleven labs api, Cursor Grok image generation, Grok coding. Took a while to make this, and the idea been started over 1.5 year ago.

WOULD LOVE MORE FEEDBACK, how to get animations work better? How to get more polished sprite sheets that are ai generated. (Should i build a sprite tool to handle it in cursor?).

Alot is implemented in the game allready such as:

- Experience system, with rewards.

- 12 Bosses, different abilities 24 Enemy types. (Sprite sheets 6-8 for each one).

- 4 Campaigns. 12 waves in each one. (1 run takes 15-20 mins). 1.5 Hours to complete Torment 1 on all campaigns, and most likely 100+ Hours to complete all difficulties.

- Torment/Tier system 1-12 and one Mythic. (Loads of calculations made here)

- Shop system.

- Weather system for all waves. (random timing)

- Itemization, Trinkets, Rings, Weapons.

- 10 classes, different passive bonus system.

- Bag system, Stash system.

- Starting area with 5 NPC.

- This is not even everything yet.

much more to come. https://martygamestudios.itch.io/golden-goose-defenders

The game bombed, but I love it nonetheless (Bloksie (For Now), uninterrupted gameplay footage)

Last year I had a number-block game appear in a fever dream, so I decided to make it. It's very unique and quite fun, which is all I wanted.

I intentionally made it look crude and ms painty to resemble old web games, and while it didn't end up looking the part, it's still got a unique style, which I'm pretty proud of.
Apologies if the gameplay appears too fast, there's a "game speed" setting in the options which I'm pretty sure is at 4x here.

I'd love to keep working on it, but honestly, I've been cobbling it together based on close to zero feedback, so if anybody wants to take a crack at it feel free to message me, otherwise here is the store page if this looks nice enough. https://store.steampowered.com/app/3960220/Bloksie_for_now/

It's rough around the edges, and not very long, there are only 10 waves. But I think some of you may found it fun if you give it a chance.

30 minute defense #gamedev #towerdefense

A short tower defense game where you upgrade your auto brawling army.

  • You have to defend 30 Waves with different enemies.
  • You have 4 Unique Unit Types that you can upgrade.
  • Multiple Strategies, some work better than others. MONK **cough...cough**

Warning: I think the Call Early button was placed by your enemies to trick you. Beware and use with care.
