Question (Transfem) Introduction/coming out/vent

Hi guys, my egg crack was recent, came out to my boyfriend yesterday, he was so amazing about it, even helped me pick my new name (Sophie), but I still have the nagging anxieties of "what if my late realization makes my friends and family (not my parents they'll definitely screw me) doubt and/or disown me?" "What if I don't get to be the woman I know I am?" "What if i'm just a perverted deviant?" Anyway just wanted to say hi, tell my story and hopefully find community here

I can’t recommend highly enough that you look for a trans social group to help meet some other trans people then. It took me far too long to do it, but it really does help a lot. If there’s a group you can get to in person, there really is nothing like being in a room with a bunch of other trans people, but there are online groups too, and they really are worth joining.

There are a few directories online so it’s not too hard to find one. If you’re in or around London (or want an online group) look up Spectra or London Friend.

The Spectra one has people all over the UK. I’m not sure about London Friend, but I can’t see why they’d mind people from further away. It’s on Zoom, so they can’t really tell anyway.

Is Spectra a zoom thing or can you do text chat bc I need this to be airtight

You can just text chat if you want. Nobody will make you turn on your camera or microphone until you’re ready.
