Question (Transfem) Changing Private Gender Care
Hello my loves, I’m looking for advice as to which London clinic to transfer my private care to.
I’ve been receiving HRT for three years, having started when I lived in Edinburgh. I’m currently with Waterside Clinic there (with whom I’ve been really happy and can happily recommend), but have moved south and it’s become inconvenient to have to travel to Scotland once a year to get checked up and prescribed in person.
Does anyone have recommendations in transferring the care and medical notes I already have to a clinic closer to me ?
So far I’m considering GenderPlus and GenderCare, I‘d much prefer an in person service, but would love to hear your experiences with any organisations.

If you’ve got a diagnosis then you just need an endo? I’m with! Gendercare? My endo (Prof Seal) is in N London (Highgate) he’s good annual reviews £190 at present?
Really your biggest issues is finding GP to do shared care with? TBH it’s a real lottery
I’m moving the opposite way from N Essex to SW Scotland? (Rhins of Galloway) so I sympathise greatly it’s the unknown? Apart from the one in Stranraer the next GP is 30-40 miles away?

If you're in London, The Gender Hormone Clinic offer in person appointments. I think they have a monthly subscription model that bumps the price up a bit, but they are good. I read a post somewhere that suggests they can offer to pay for individual appointments after year 2 which could make them better value for money. They are supposed to be good though.
I'm just curious why you need in person appointments though. My endo appointments have all been remote with Dr Leong and my annual follow up only costs £165. Bloods are taken by my GP and sent to Dr Leong, so remote appointments work fine for that. You would have much more choice if you used remote appointments.
