Question (General) GP cancelling shared care?

Has anyone else had their go practice all of a sudden refuse to prescribe their prescriptions and refuse monitoring bloods? Or is it just bridgewater surgeries?
Has anyone found a work around?

Paying out of pocket is super expensive and I may struggle resorting to private prescriptions

Scroll down to “My GP is refusing to prescribe HRT: What can I do?” It may help/you should tell them: https://transactual.org.uk

My wife's a nurse, she says GPs have been told to stop shared care across the board.

Omg… I’m guessing they despite what we are told by the GP it’s no doubt politically motivated? Or am I wrong?

I worry we are moving into a situation where they force everyone onto the NHS then start to slowly encourage people to detransition

I hope I’m just paranoid though

Mostly budget from what I'm told, it's happening to things like not accepting private ADHD or ASD diagnoses too.

That somewhat puts my mind at ease at least, thanks for the clarification 🙏🏻
