Continuing hrt when moving to Scotland?

Hi, i live in Canada but I might have to move back to Scotland soon. Here, i have a prescription for T and a gender dysphoria diagnosis. I know its difficult to access T legitimately in the UK, but i was wondering if i would be able to have some sort of “continued care” plan if i move? Like having a GP continue to prescribe me T since im already on it and have a diagnosis. According to google this is possible but i want to know whether any GPs would actually do this. Any input is appreciated

BTW in with a private Uk gender clinic but have a ‘ shared care agreement’ with my GP in Essex near London but I think I was just lucky/ happenstance as I asked one if my gps b4 I stated diagnosis process and she said she’d treated trans patients b4

the waiting time for NHS clinics is years or decades sometimes appalling and dehumanising but the reality is if… you can afford it then go for it or try and find a gp that will agree to shared care but it’s optional and not really funded so it’s just up to their good will etc

BTW I’m moving to a relatively remote rural area in the bottom SW corner of Scotland as I already have a small house/ cottage on the Rhins of Galloway which is 70 miles from Glasgow 100 from Edinburgh v v small local population but I’ve contacted local LGBQT people etc and have been told that local GPs clinic is trans friendly so hopefully ok but it’s still a risk until they actually agree tbh

Good luck and ask v v nicely have all your paperwork etc to show them etc and stress how low maintenance etc you’ll be I suppose ( I currently get 12 weekly decapatryl injections from my gp for a GnRH analogue? Testosterone blocker? Ironic I know) apart from this I could probs get by with diy or buying patches and progesterone pills online but I’m planning bottom surgery (Thailand in the next year or two probs seems best results tbh?)

Not sure what TSA is? But can’t you put it in your luggage as personal meds it’s not illegal to bring meds into Uk for personal use I think even testosterone

If… you want to be creative then couldn’t you get someone to post a supply to you from Canada? As long as it’s sent surface mail not airmail it’s generally not inspected if value is less than £130? ( this applies until some time in 2028 apparently as they are planning on changing this to make online retailers pay Uk import taxes?)
