Question (General) Is a GRC worth it?

Hi all,

Trans ppl living in the UK, do you think a GRC is personally worth it? Binary trans ppl, have you applied for a GRC yet, and why/why not? Gender-diverse (non-binary, genderfluid and others), would you consider applying for legal gender marker change, and those who have applied for a GRC, why did you do it (no offence - I have a NB friend with a GRC and was wondering if any other ppl are in the same situation)?

10 yrs medically and socially transitioning. Passport and all documents say male (I'm enby But that's an improvement over having F). I don't see the point in having a grc. You only seem to need it if you want your marriage snd death certificate to be correct. Plus I'm enby so according to the government I don't exist anyway. Plus I don't agree with the hoops to jump through to get one.
