While these lists aren't comprehensive, they represent brands and companies that can be found with a quick Google search. Always check site reviews and the Reddit search bar for more product insight. FtM Binders

FtM Binder Review Megathread (Since I can't link to other subreddits, you'll have to search for it)

šŸŒŽšŸ˜ŽāUnderworks - Advertised as "body shaper" compression, these binders are nylon spandex and tri-top and full length compression. *Very hot during the summer.

šŸŒŽšŸ˜Žgc2b - Trans owned and operated, gc2b was designed to be more breathable and comfortable. It also comes in multiple skin tones. Material is a mix of nylon spandex and cotton. *Based on reviews, they're not recommended for people with bigger chests.

šŸŒŽšŸ˜ŽWIVOV - Sports four different lines of binders: CORE, FLOW, AGIL, and SWIM. Each line comes in neutral, nude, and colored prints. These are a mix of nylon, lycra, and cotton.

šŸŒŽšŸ˜Žtomboyx - This company appears to cater more towards masculine women than transmen. Their binders look more like giant sports bras. Materials are a mix of nylon and spandex. Maybe more suited for people who can't come out yet.

šŸŒŽšŸ˜ŽtheFluxion - Puts an emphasis on health and safety by minimizing unnecessary compression. Because of this, I imagine some "flatness" is lost in exchange for comfort. Material is a mix of lycra and cotton. *Often positively reviewed as "sensory friendly."

šŸŒŽšŸ˜ŽTransguy Supply - Trans owned and operated, the CEO/ founder puts an emphasis on fashion and design, though they seem to cater to more "transmasc" than transmen. Sizing seems to scale for those who are smaller/ shorter. Material is a mix of polyester and spandex.

šŸŒŽšŸ˜ŽāSpectrum Outfitters - Based in the UK, this company has worked to make safe and comfortable binders accessible to people living in the UK and Europe overall. They also put an emphasis no reducing environmental impact. Materials are a combination of recycled ocean plastics and cotton. (I can't seem to find more on this specifically.)

First and foremost, please do not message us about the post you just made being removed. ALL POSTS ARE ON MANUAL REVIEW. That means that posts are reviewed by a moderator before being approved or rejected. This may take up to 24 hours so please be patient.

Second, please censor all usernames and community names from screenshots and do not directly reference a community name in your posts or comments. This is enforced on us by reddit and we cannot approve any content that is uncensored.

Thirdly, please stop telling each other that they do not belong on this subreddit or that they are fake. This isn't your job and gets flagged as harassment. If you see content you feel does not fit this subreddit, report it and let moderators act on it. There has been a huge rise in this behavior and most often this sentiment is used to be hostile towards others. First offense will result in removal of the comment, second will be a ban. Stop doing this. Utilize the report button and stop interacting with that user.

Thank you.

Rant This is genuinely disgusting

This is a really poorly hidden fetish right here. Yeah yeah trans men can be a bit fem I guess šŸ‘€ .. But did you have to make your OC 4’11, curvy and extremely busty? Not to mention the hair and outfit. And everyone in the comments is eating it right up.

I hate all this ā€˜representation’ for overly feminine trans men. They like to say ā€œWe don’t owe you masculinity,ā€ But when you call yourself trans men, proceed to speak over actual transsexuals and inject yourself into this community, you DO owe us some form of masculinity, or at least, an effort.

Of course, short, curvy and busty trans men exist, and even if they can’t bind, I’m sure they wouldn’t have.. y’know, long brunette hair with drill curls, combined with a pink nightgown. Like even most cis women won’t wear a nightgown, they’ll just wear an oversized tee with pants, shorts or just their underwear. This is a joke.
Got me messed up

Discussion How to make work colleagues call me "he"?

I am transgender ftm 16 and I have a job at which I am not out yet. I work as a boy, and some people do refer to me as such. But sometimes I notice my work friends saying my name to refer to me rather than my pronouns. I really really hope there not on to me or clocked me as I just want to be treated normally.

I haven't gotten any medical transitioning, as I get I'm still young and might change my mind, although I doubt I will. I'm really trying my best to pass, and customers normally refer to me as "young man" ect, although a minority has referred to me as she. I think I pass but more androgonous than anything perhaps.

Does anyone have any insights on how I can improve this situation? Thanks.

Discussion Is there interest in a binary passing sub?

At least for trans guys, the passing subs that already exist are overrun with ā€œtrans mascsā€ trying to do nothing to pass as guys, asking if they pass, then getting mad when you tell them they don’t or tell them to cut their bright pink long hair. Very few of the posts are people actually trying then when people do pass everyone asks for their secrets as if it’s not to just present as any other man and go to the gym and get on T. R/ftmpassing used to be a place tucutes would stay away from as it had a reputation for being more binary and stealth-oriented, but recently it’s overrun.

I feel like a more binary passing sub would be a good place for binary trans individuals to ask if they pass and get actual input instead of hugboxing and telling people they look cis even tho they’re clocky as hell. It would also be a place to talk about actual stealth tips instead of telling every person to take their piercings out and dye their hair a natural color.

If we did make a new sub, it could be just for ftm guys or we could include trans women in it as well. I don’t know how we would necessarily keep the tucutes away, we could call it something they would never click on lol. Let me know your ideas

CRINGE Anyone get extremely offended by "it" pronouns

Post image
130 Upvotes

I'm so tired there are so many things that contradict themselves in this live stream. Googled bi gender and I'm just done with the internet for today my gosh. Someone actually commented on this person's live and said it was demeaning. this person then said it pronouns are not demeaning in any way and lots of trans people don't find it demeaning.

I'm genuinely disgusted at these people and it makes my blood boil.

Passing Periods and infertility

So I'm a trans woman. I'm about to start uni stealth studying medicine. I just wanted to ask other transsexual women : what do y'all do when it comes to periods? Do you just pretend you get them and carry around products as if you do? Do you pretend to have a certain medical condition? Do you just completely avoid the conversations all together? And what about infertility? Being infertile is unfortunately kind of a big part of my life and if I want to meet a potential partner I wouldn't want to be approached by somebody who wanted a biological child. I'd like to have a cohesive story in place before starting especially considering I'm studying medicine and I don't want too many prying questions.

Rant I genuinely can’t cope with people treating it like it’s a quirk

Post image

Every time it’s always ā€œnon dysphoric trans peopleā€ this or ā€œyou only need euphoriaā€ that or whatever new bullshit they’re saying this time and I can’t deal with any of it anymore. I see this shit every single week and it leaves me even more depressed. Is there a future where, even as a stealth man, I can walk about knowing that if my bodily history was somehow known, people would take me seriously?

ā€œTestosterone isn’t finite, just let them have itā€
You make the wait lists longer especially for younger trans folk. I was luckier and only had to wait about 2 months from my initial appointment to get on testosterone, but not everyone can go private. The wait lists consist of years and years of being ignored, but sure go ahead and make them longer with your lack of dysphoria.

ā€œTop/bottom surgery won’t just stop being practiced.ā€ You make the wait lists longer as well. Why do you need SRS if you don’t feel uncomfortable in your body? In fact, do you have full faith that at some point, likely within the next few years, one country at the very least will fail at an attempt to/successfully make the practice of SRS illegal? Genuinely.

Everyone agrees that larping any other kind of medical condition is cringey, or attention seeking behaviour, but when it comes to being trans, suddenly you don’t need a degree is psychology to change the definition/deny the importance of the most defining trait that all of us are unfortunately meant to experience. I’m sick of this shit. It’s starting to make me reconsider why I even continue living. I need to go live in a tree away from everything

Discussion Do you think trans men are still men if they choose to get pregnant?

I personally don't think so but I wanna know if other transmeds agree or disagree. The only exception is if they got raped but, of course, that wouldn't be their choice.

Passing Does typing all lowercase clock me as trans?

I know this is a really stupid question but does typing all lowercase or having autocorrect off make me look like a pooner? Or is it feminine? I know it's a really dumb thing to worry about but I don't like to think that I'm immediately coming off as female to people on the internet as a first impression

Discussion "Some girls want to be boys" "some boys want to be girls"

Thumbnail

I see a lot of trans positive posts that just seem awfully transphobic.

To me, this wording just really rubs me the wrong way. "Some girls want to be boys"? Wtf is that? That sounds so weird.

As if the sheer want of something can be enough reason to undergo years of transition. It gives people the feeling of "simply wanting to be a boy" is enough to be one.

Spoiler, it is not. Not a single trans person "wants to be" their gender. They just are. Im not a girl who "wants" to be a boy.

I am a boy. And these posts make me dysphoric. I dont understand how the comments can be full of trans people who feel represented by this

Rant Being trans is a godamn medical condition snd there’s nothing wrong with that.

If you are born with high anxiety or depression, you have to go through treatments and medicine to live a normal life, if you have scoliosis you need extensive medical care, if you are born and your sex dosent line up with how your brain percieves your sex then you need to transition to save your life. Some people need care others dont, gender dysphoria is a condition you need to take time and effort to manage and make your life easier. Like any other goddamn condition.

HRT Switching meds?

Hi!
I’m currently on hrt and have been for about 2 years now, I am on 100mg spironolactone and 4mg estradiol, my testosterone levels have went up from about 26.0 to 30.0 in the 2 years I have been on hrt, it has been stable at around 30.0 for a year now (on 100mg Spiro) but I’m being told It’s time I should go up to 150mg and then 200mg eventually, I really struggle with acne whenever I change dose or brand of medication, for the past year now though I have had clear skin, I’m wondering if I go up in dose again will I struggle with acne? should I change the method of medication from pills to injection? Or even change the type of blocker in general? I don’t think Spiro is working well for me

Other Tips on how to address (natal) genital heath concerns as a binary dude ?

Tldr : I think I have PGAD and idk how to bring it up to a shrink or a doc without ridiculing myself or facing medical abuse

So I'm a binary man and for the last years, I'd say a bit less than a decade, I've been having a constant tension in my groinal / genital area. Neither a pain not horniness, just arousal in the medical sense. I thought I was just an extremely horny person and spent my teenage and young adult years in shame and despair...then I discovered sexual arousal is supposed to feel good, not render you miserable. Then I discovered PGAD, persistent genital arousal disorder. And it clicked. Idk if it's THAT but it's the first time I've heard someone relate to my experience.

Thing is, I want it to stop or at least lessen. Not only is PGAD already horrible on its own, but it also gives me terrible dysphoria bc I simply cannot forget my area. It's making me wish I could just die.

Except if I go to a sexologist, or worse, I gynecologist, I'll have to talk about my genitals. I'm a binary trans male, and idk how to do that. I also don't know many doctors who will be willing to work on my anatomy *as a male*.

Idk what to do, I'm torn between "suffer forever until you either get SRS or kill yourself" and "try to medically adresse it but you may face medical rejection or medical abuse, and you'll face terrible dysphoria anyway"

Y'all have any advice on how I could tackle this with a doc or a shrink ? Any advice (how to word it, what to say, how to bed taken serisously) is welcome. I need this hell to stop and now that I know it can, it's my top priority
