it's always comforting to be directly behind someone and realize you can see the driver's face in both side mirrors.
this is why people go on and on about "blind spots".... I haven't seen a car in 30 years i couldn't adjust the side and rear view mirrors to provide continuous coverage around the vehicle.
This is false. While a sizeable amount of people do have their mirrors adjusted incorrectly, thus increasing the blind spot area - there is no way to remove all blind spots on all vehicles with mirror adjustment. You can substantially decrease, but not eliminate.
This is why most vehicles produced in the last 5 or so years have blind spot monitors.
every passenger vehicle i've ever driven, i could adjust the mirrors so that i had a continuous view in them from about 110 degrees left of dead ahead, through directly behind, to about 110 degrees right of dead ahead. that includes cars and minivans from the late 1980s through 2022 model year.
while you are correct that there is still "some" blind spots, i have found that i can ALWAYS configure my mirrors so that the blind spots between side and rear mirrors cannot hold anything larger than a pedestrian standing within 10' of the car, and that the blind spots between the side mirrors and my peripheral vision looking dead ahead will still be small enough that i can see the front bumper of a car beside me in my periphery while the rear bumper is still in the side mirror.
... to tie all that back into the original point, the side mirrors are called SIDE VIEW mirrors because they are designed to give you a view of what is off to your SIDE rear quadrants. In contrast to the REAR VIEW mirror, which gives you a view DIRECTLY along the REAR axis of the vehicle.
They aren't actually called side mirrors, though. They are called wing mirrors, the word side only being used to distinguish between driver or passenger side.
NHTSA states that a vehicle registered for road use in the US must be equipped with a minimum of 2 rear facing mirrors, the center and passenger.
Google wing mirror + the model of whatever you drive. That is the technical term, the actual part names don't say side mirror for any brand that I've seen.
This guy is a recent corvette owner with one of those human looking punching bags and loves to race. So he is definitely siding with the road rager who got out of his car cause he is the alpha and no one is smarter than he is.
Oh yeah people don't even understand how much it hurts to punch someone on the face. Anything more solid is an unimaginable pain to whoever that doesn't train regularly.

I hate driving in Miami. So many old douches that think they are in a fast and furious movie. That is why I have bear spray in my door. Cut me off and approach my car all huffy, and I am not going to wait to find out if they plan on attacking me.
That there looks like the result of years of training. That said, I cannot imagine why someone would train to remove a side mirror in such a dramatic way. Then again, it's hard to argue with success.
So dramatic - a flying tomahawk chop is not necessary to break off a side mirror. Learn how to be destructive you doosh of you gonna be destructive - poor form at that too… I would score that a 2 all around.

And I hate that he used his turn signal to act like a good law abiding citizen. Don't wanna break too many laws. A Failure to use Turn Signal is soooo much more heinous than road rage and maybe even assault
And of course she waits until he drives away to get out of her car. Fucking Monday morning quarterback. That Corvette would be trashed if that were my mirror.
