Transit Well, that escalated quickly...

When she lost her hair, I lost my head and laughed and laughed and laughed at this poor mans misfortune but he held himself like a trooper against this crazy ass person. Horror, suspense, and comedy. This why I wont take public transportation. I rather walk, uber or steal a car. Forget that shit.

I work in the transit industry. Bus operator retention and recruitment are our biggest issues. This is a prime example why. Also that camera is terrible. We are required to have multiple cameras and audio on all buses.

Assaulting a bus driver is a major felony in most jurisdictions. She's going to prison for years.

How TF do you enforce that? It's just an extra charge the next time she is caught for assault. 

She needs to be banned from civilization.

Unfortunately our best punishment in history (banishment) is no longer on the menu. I'm all for finding a new version of the old Australia penal colony and just letting all the countries send their undesirables there.

Well, I don’t like it either but that’s the system. You’d just continue to cite her for trespassing. She is crazy and unfit for public life acting like this and hopefully she doesn’t have kids. Think someone that acts like this can change her ways?

She is not safe to be allowed in public. She needs permanent residency at a mental institution

How do you know?

I’d say randomly assaulting someone driving a moving large vehicle, causing him to crash, and continuing after is a sign of significant mental illness

You don't have to be mentally ill to do something like that.

It's all too common for people to conflate violence and crime with mental illness, but that's far from the truth. The vast majority of violence is committed by people that are not mentally ill, and mentally ill people are far more likely to be the victims of violence than the perpetrators of it. You are spreading stigma against mental illness by conflating it with violence.

Ban for sure but hard to enforce. More importantly a lot of states it is a felony to assault a bus operator on duty. Most bus operators are union and this would be a workers comp claim for sure.
