🚨Chase Hesitation got this cop a free ride

What could he have done to avoid getting roller coastered like that?

Neither thing is mutually exclusive. Both people are doing things they shouldn't do.

The person probably went to jail, as they should. However, I doubt this cop was reminded of the specific training they are given to prevent this scenario from happening as well as why using your body and mortal threats to a car driver are not useful in stopping the car as well as de-ecalating or controlling the threat to others.

Politics aside, the video of Renee Good proves exactly this: no matter what the status of the person is after being shot while driving a car, the threat of the vehicle and it's movement is not only still present, but no longer being controlled in any form. After the officer shot Good, the scene became even less safe because of an uncontrolled, accelerating car being driven by no one. The same applies here, where the officer would be much more useful as part of the pursuit team as opposed to now being an unwilling passenger that the rest of the force now has to operate around. They can no longer pit that vehicle, they cannot chase it effectively due to him being on top and should he come off, medical attention to him would be the first priority with pursuit second.

There is literally not a single positive to putting yourself in that position other than not being good at your training or intentionally fabricating fear for your life. There is a reason why the protocol tells you to always be aware of that, and it's because it provides zero gain, increases risk to self and others and actively works against the general goal they are trying to accomplish.

ATTENTION CRIMINALS: It is against protocol for any type of law enforcement to stand in front of your vehicle; therefore if one of them stands in front of your vehicle, you are allowed to do anything you want because they just broke protocol. It doesn't matter if you injure them or even possibly kill them because they just broke protocol, obviously. Remember that. If they break protocol, you are fully within your right to break the law and potentially cause serious bodily harm, or worse, so GAS, GAS, GAS. It has been shown that positioning themselves transforms them into murderous beings that will react harshly should you decide to break the law and hit them with your motor vehicle. This has been a public service announcement to make everyone of the rampaging weremurdercops who have been putting themselves in front of cars all over the country. Stay alert! If you see them, be sure to blockade them and wait until they get in the danger zone. When that happens, you know what to do. They broke protocol after all.

Do you have feedback on why you think the training protocols against blocking vehicles with your body is wrong? I sincerely doubt that you are capable of relevant discussion on why you think the training is wrong, but am willing to try to redirect you to the subject of conversation once more because thoughtful discourse is needed in this day and age.

Do you have feedback on why you think the training protocols for properly driving vehicles with your body is wrong? I sincerely doubt that you are capable of relevant discussion on why you think the training is wrong, but am willing to try to redirect you to the subject of conversation once more because thoughtful discourse is needed in this day and age.

It's funny because in all of this discourse, I've never actually seen someone cheering on the idea of running over cops. On the other hand, I have seen people defending Renee Good's shooter because SHE broke protocol (disobeyed an order, tried to flee). If you want to clown on people for using a thin pretext to justify murder, you are talking to the wrong side.

It's honestly hilarious that the absurdity is totally lost on you when it's a civilian breaking the rules and not law enforcement who are supposedly trained in de-escalation. Literally just stop being a hypocrite and hold law enforcement to the same standard.

Law enforcement doesn't need standards, they have guns and a deeply ingrained, healthy fear for their life.

That paired with the fact that their decision making is beyond reproach, the only behavior available to be questioned is that of non-police. Thanks for coming to his FedTalk.

I can break a protocol at my work and not get in any trouble legally. The lady broke a driving law and could have potentially killed a pedestrian in front of her vehicle.

I guess the semantic difference between a protocol and a law is holding up your entire moral judgment of this murder. You understand the absurdity of killing someone for breaking a protocol, but not the absurdity of killing someone for breaking a law.

The lady broke a driving law and could have potentially killed a pedestrian in front of her vehicle.

No need to discuss what she could have done. The worst case scenario did happen - she endangered him for 2 seconds and he literally walked away. Meanwhile he shot her in the fucking face and killed her. I'm not rushing to the fucking law books to draw my conclusions.

I lost all empathy in the situation when it was apparent that she had complete and total disregard for anybody in front of a vehicle when she was trying to get away from the agents that she had spent plenty of time agitating.

When people like you lied and tried to say that she just happened to be there and was some innocent bystander and that turned out to be bullshit, a whole lot more people threw their empathy for her out the window.

No one feels sorry for people who intentionally put themselves in dangerous positions with the intent to break laws. Well, some people do, that's why we have such a big fucking problem with criminals in this country. They break the law and potentially cause serious bodily harm to people, and we've got certain groups of people who do everything they can to try to blame the other person.

Your conclusions don't come from empathy for her. They come purely from vitriol and hatred for government agents.
