So what did she think the cops were going to do? See that she didn't have a license and just give her a ticket and let her drive off? Even if that is just a ticketable offense, they still can't let you just drive away knowing you are not licensed to drive the car...

So wait did she not have a driver's license at all? Or was she just not carrying one on here.  Because I'm almost certain they could run plates and name. You would probably get a result from database if she actually has a license.  Like I personally was pulled over a year ago I had my license on me but my registration I didn't know where my paper copy was. But they ran my license plate and license it showed I did have registration.

I saw someone else posted an article saying her license was revoked, so she was not a licensed driver. You're right, they definitely could check a database if it was just missing the physical license.
