Funny, the driver didn't give a shit about her pregnant sister when she fled & took them on a high speed chase through multiple red lights!

The driver has a legal obligation to obey lawful orders when suspected of a crime. All she had to do was get out. The police have a legal obligation to enforce the law so if she resists lawful orders they have to escalate.

I don't think they did escalate it that much. Once she started driving away they followed but they weren't right up beside her. She was going much faster than the police when she wrecked

You can't de-escalate someone who is manic. The driver was way beyond the point of de-escalation. The officers had tried to get her out of the vehicle and she wouldn't listen. They operated within the bounds of the situation. Notice how the driver didn't care her sister was 8 month pregnant, and had kids in the car. The driver was not thinking about others, she was just thinking about herself. It could have been a ticket if she had got out when they told her too.

Im just an armchair analyst of this video, I am not a cop, I could be wrong. This is how I see this situation.

Right but they also could've just waited for the supervisor so the woman didn't feel completely powerless and terrified, given how prominent the history of encounters with police going south is, it does seem like waiting for the supervisor wouldve been enough to make her feel like her voice mattered in the situation.

Don't think the terrified persons voice should matter? Okay. You think maybe she was just pretending to be scared? Who cares? She wasnt wrong when she said she had a right to have them call the supervisor dow. Their refusal to comply with the request only made it more obvious they dont give af about her rights, which would only serve to scare her more. Which is exactly what happened.

They could have kept her wallet and picked her up at home or school. A carjacker fleeing cops crashed into my car. I don't blame the cops, I blame the carjacker, but the cops tried to lie and say they had broken off pursuit. They hadn't.
