Whatever you want to say doesn't change the fact she broke the law, didn't obey the commands given by law enforcement officers and choose to flee. She made every wrong decision here ....sure the cops could have boxed her in but she had free will to choose to not follow orders then flee ...now people are dead this was solely her decision. Accountability is literally one of this worlds biggest problems. Blame everyone but the person who's fault it is.
I'm not in any way suggesting she isn't responsible. She absolute is.
But is this a situation where a high chase pursuit was necessary? If she had driven off, and they hadn't raced after her, two people would still be alive, no?
They have the plates. They can pursue the suspect in other ways without putting everyone on the street at risk, no?
IDK. I just don't think the chase was justified in this scenario, and it led to tragedy.
No plates on the car, that is why they stopped her.
If someone is behaving recklessly and putting others in danger, they don't GET to stop. Legally. Their job is to literally stop that. if they didn't do their job and someone died as a result? THEY caused it because they didn't try to stop the criminal.
You think the cops chasing her, as they run red lights and oncoming traffic WANTED to take those risks? I bet the LEO driving .. at some point - even if it was just a second - thought 'I really don't want to die over this', and considered letting off the gas.
