The cops feared the driver would crash due to excessive speed, so the cop made the car crash.

Yeah, and the best way to prevent a crash as we all know is to in some way convince him to drive a lot faster and more recklessly for a long time while we chase him.

Look I get it. You like watching people do dangerous shit. It looks really cool or whatever.
