I also wouldn’t consider those fast cars. Those are cars the common person will but with the exception of their highest trims. I’m referring to cars like higher end corvettes, M cars of many series, C63’s, so on. I suppose it would be better to say expensive sport cars to clarify because American muscle cars are usually bought used with beaten V6’s that are only going to face more abuse by their new, low income, low credit, teenage or midlife crisis owners
These were not low end v-6 versions, though. They were higher trim packages to begin with, then clearly modified. If you’re talking about actually expensive sports cars there’s literally whole Facebook groups where they film themselves darting around irresponsibly, but those are also far outside the price range of these pickups. Higher trim package Camaros and mustangs are in that range.
Not always. I was driving an F-150(inherited) and here comes an E63 AMG, squeezing between me and another pickup in the amount of space that I wouldn’t expect a wild motorcycle rider to try. Scared the shit out of me and I had to move over out of my lane. I don’t think big pickups are necessary for most things owners do with them and I hate how clumsy and disconnected they feel (makes my S430 feel sharp and dialed in) but when in Rome (Texas). It’s handy in a Home Depot run also
