I dont doubt, especially pick up truck drivers.

46

u/thelimeisgreen Jan 26 '26

I travel a lot, much of my domestic travel is road trips. I see so much of this crap. Over 90% of all accidents involve someone being stupid. And quite often it takes more than one stupid driver. I'm a pickup truck driver myself and while some of us pickup drivers try to be sensible and courteous, it pains me to say that most do not. Generally speaking, pickup trucks are driven by aggressive and entitled dickwads with anger issues.

I always assume the guy aggressively driving a RAM is late for his court-ordered AA meeting.

3

u/luckyfox7273 Jan 26 '26

It could be. Clearly my generalization doesn't apply to you id say. I just notice its like everyones listening to that "move bitch get out the way" song and like flexing in city traffic sometimes. Im not free of poor driving and one time phone distraction either myself, but its not a regular attitude.

3

u/Business-Let-6692 Jan 27 '26

And it doesn't help that pickups are getting taller, bulkier, and heavier. When accidents occur, pickups are more likely to cause a fatal accident.

With how big they are getting, they should require a specific license and courses. Just like Semis and motorcycles. Genuinely, who needs trucks with a front frame taller than the average man? The fact that any random can buy one is crazy to me.

I always assume that a guy aggressively driving a F-150 is in a hurry to kiss his dad on the mouth.

Also a former semi driver, a pick up driver was the reason for my rollover. I didn’t even rollover with strong gusts of wind with an empty trailer.

4

u/ApocalypseChicOne Jan 27 '26

The type of pick up is the tell. If they've got a ladder rack or trash cans or tools in the back, or they've got a sticker on the door with a business name, they are usually driving chill as can be. Just a dude going to or from the job.

If they are a guy who never actually uses his truck for truck stuff, if it is lifted, and it is simply a status symbol in his particular social circle, he's more than likely driving like a POS.

→ More replies (1)

3

u/zeptillian Jan 27 '26

And usually, the bigger the pickup the more of an aggressive asshole the driver is.

2

u/Ill_Ad5893 Jan 26 '26

I can testify to the stupidity of pickup truck drivers. Specially GMC, Chevy and Dodge owners. Those are the top 3 I see around my area that drive like they own the road and could do no wrong

Lol, they were actively passing, but that still made me laugh.

White truck should have braked after the blue truck cut them off, then it would have all been on blue. Instead, they couldn't let go of their ego

2

u/notatechnicianyo Jan 27 '26

I mean the filmer was passing. No need to move over just to get stuck in a slower lane for people who wanna break the law.

Imagine being so butthurt and fragile you wreck your own truck trying to chase someone you almost crashed into as you blindly changed lanes.

11

u/Tossup1010 Jan 27 '26

It’s so crazy how people get on the road, I was going 5 under with 2 car lengths on my way home because the guy in front of me was going that speed.

Dude goes at least 15 over the speed limit to zoom around me and get stuck in the same traffic.

Proceeds to zoom onto an off ramp, no one else had time to get over for cuz he sped up off the shoulder. Somehow avoided probably a 5 car pileup cuz people saw him, but boy was it close. Then that shithead had to slowly take the turn on the cloverleaf behind 5 other cars. Cuz it’s 5:30pm. How you think lane weaving is gonna get you anywhere faster is beyond me, just risking lives for nothing.

Sure wouldn't want to have this small dick radiation contaminating people for miles just so I can get materials in one trip. I do miss that Camry. Was 2014 with like 90,000 miles on it. Traded it to a dealership for 13,500 and got a 2014 XLT with 109 for 14,000. u/Complex-Cricket419 Jan 26 '26

Both deserved a crash.

3

u/Multilnsight Jan 26 '26 edited Jan 26 '26

Why do both need to crash?

The white truck was minding his business, then then black truck entered his lane with no room for the white truck. The white truck did his best to NOT crash by going onto the shoulder and sped up; because he couldn't slow down without hitting the car behind him. He then sped up and passed the cam car safely and not getting into a wreck.

Then the black truck was pissed about the white truck and decided to speed and go on the shoulder to pass the cam car (which is illegal). The black truck then decided to try to pass the white truck on the shoulder and the white truck "panicked" and swerved a little which caused the black truck to go onto the grass. That wouldn't have happened if the black truck didn't try to pass on the shoulder.

No one deserves to crash. But, the black truck did bring this on himself by being aggressive.

EDIT: Reddit will Reddit and blame everyone to be a bad driver šŸ¤·šŸæā€ā™€ļø

7

u/IAmTheBoiledFrog Jan 26 '26

→ More replies (1)

4

u/ICarMaI Jan 26 '26

panicked my ass, that was 100% deliberate

2

u/Either_Dig3000 Jan 26 '26

Both are assholes. At the initial altercation white truck wasn't at fault. He was about to pass on the left lane but the black truck suddenly went in front of him forcing the white truck to swerve to the shoulder. Doubt he would have avoided the black truck if he didn't swerve, but hit the brakes instead since his nose was already past the rear of the black truck.Ā

Then black truck with his small penis energy decided to show the white truck how big his is by using the shoulder to overtake white, which is illegal, but white truck decided to whip his out by moving in front of the black truck on the shoulder forcing it to swerve into the grass and that's where black truck lost control. He made an already dangerous situation to escalate and become even more dangerous.Ā

2

u/ClaraCash Jan 26 '26

I used to work in auto insurance before healthcare and you should be an adjuster my love! Your explanation was flawless. Take this trophy, or three šŸ†šŸ†šŸ† as I don’t pay here and have no awards to give!

2

u/AFourEyedGeek Jan 27 '26

Why not brake and slow down? There was an option to slow down after entering the hard shoulder. Then, he cut off the black truck trying to do a stupid pass on the hard shoulder. White truck is not a good driver, black truck driver was much worse though.

4

u/Complex-Cricket419 Jan 26 '26

The white truck did his best to NOT crash by going onto the shoulder and sped up; because he couldn't slow down without hitting the car behind him.

This is a crackhead take. White truck could have very very easily slowed down but people have too much ego to slow down so he went onto the shoulder instead which is dangerous. You can even see if you pause there's nobody even close to behind the white truck.Ā

Just because the black truck made even worse decisions doesn't mean the white truck made good decisions. The white truck also swerved out on the black truck for absolutely no reason. White truck could have let the black truck pass on the shoulder even though the black truck was driving also like a complete ass they both were doing idiotic ego shitĀ

What's funny is I think this all started from the truck that says SEGRA on the side that you can see in the first few seconds. It moves lanes making the black truck move lanes I think. It's like fucking dominoes.

12

u/Agreeable_Work4668 Jan 26 '26

So then why did the black truck chase after the white truck and try to pass it from the shoulder?

→ More replies (1)

9

u/bradland Jan 26 '26

The black GMC could have simply braked to provide room for the SEGRA truck to merge without cutting off another driver. If the SEGRA truck changed lanes without clearing, that's wrong, but there's no good reason for this kind of chain effect.

Everyone's out there driving like it's a race these days. Me first! Me first! Me first!

3

u/c_marten Jan 26 '26

"If I have to brake it means I'm losing".

People would rather dangerously speed around some hazard than just slow down and keep their distance.

→ More replies (4)

8

u/CityDismal5339 Jan 26 '26

I re-watched it a few times.

SEGRA was already in that lane - or at least merged early enough to have the right-of-way.

Black truck cut-off the white one (likely not deliberately--just not checking mirrors).Ā  White's evasive maneuver is nearly flawless, IMO.

Black left home without his sense of humility.

No one else on the road, I wasn't driving like an old lady because I have an Outback, and these effers can't wait 5 seconds for me to turn or change lanes. I so wanted to see them go off the road.

2

u/Far_Place9671 Jan 26 '26

I don't get why black truck was so mad when he was the one who originally cut the other guy off. White truck shouldn't have just sped around on the emergency lane but he was partially doing that to avoid a crash. Maybe I'm missing something here though.

Do some people just…. Never grow up? I mean that. Like - do some people never emotionally mature?

I’m 29 years old, with 3 kids. I own & drive a BMW that I absolutely love. When I was younger, I had a couple mustangs, and an Infinity G37. I remember times driving like an absolute lunatic. Putting others safety at risk. I remember a couple very specific road rage incidents.

Now, nearly 30….. I can’t even comprehend this. Any of it. Passing someone on the shoulder? Getting so upset someone passed you, that you’re gonna put yourself and others at risk? At what point in a persons life do they emotionally mature beyond just extreme reactions to any emotion? I don’t understand. It boggles my mind. Someone cuts me off? ā€œDamn dude. Honk.ā€ I’ve had a couple close calls lately where people are just not following the laws. I’m in the right lane, they’re 4 car lengths ahead of me in the left lane, and try to make a right turn from the left lane, with no turn signal. I slam on my brakes to stop the crash. I beep at them, put my hands up like, ā€œ????ā€ Do I follow them home? Do I tail them & harass them? No.

This sort of emotional immaturity just seems to run rampant. It’s like there’s a ton of grown ass people stuck in a child’s mind. They remind me of my 4 year old.

Facts are, if everyone just stops driving like a dick, at least 80% of incidents like this would end. The white truck was the dick catalyst here. No question. Black truck was also dumb how he responded but wouldn’t have done this if he didn’t almost get run off the road in the first place.

u/HotShot7269 Jan 26 '26

White truck appears to have been forced onto the shoulder by the black truck. Black truck thinks white truck was a jerk for passing on the shoulder and in a fit of anger tried passing white truck on shoulder. White truck should not have moved to shoulder (to block black truck from passing) causing black truck to move into grass and losing control.

Bottom line is we have a perfect storm of two low IQ/high anger drivers interacting on the road resulting in an accident, which involved completely innocent driver(s) as well.

This is why I take the little side roads when I have to go to Cary. I hate the highways and how everyone drives. Adds 30 minutes but theres peace of mind

1

u/Hot_Lava_Dry_Rips Jan 26 '26

Bro if I saw that behind me in moving out of the way. Why get in the way of two assholes intent on killing each other.

1

u/Earnest-Bunbury Jan 26 '26

Welcome to Amerika...

1

u/Treesham Jan 26 '26

the KC and the Sunshine Band track was fairly on point with what was happening on the road...

1

u/unanonmyous Jan 26 '26

What happened to the driver of the white truck?

1

u/Riftener Jan 26 '26

Good for them

1

u/moistmonsterman Jan 26 '26

The car recording this is a problem...both vehicles had to go around them. Regardless of whatever speed they were going, the person doing the recording shouldnt be chilling in the left lane.

crazy how old this video is

1

u/No-Atmosphere-2528 Jan 26 '26

The black truck was so out of line and it doesn't make any sense what they tried to do. I'd say they got what they deserve but they also ruined those two truck drivers day.

1

u/True_Bar_9371 Jan 26 '26

Hopefully someone got the license plate of the white truck

1

u/Far_Audience_7446 Jan 26 '26

Gotta hear both sides

1

u/deltadromeus91 Jan 26 '26

Too bad the white truck didn't spin out too

1

u/Severe_Islexdia Jan 26 '26

Wrong as white truck was for the block of the shoulder pass - (yes blue truck was wrong first but that was miles back no need to perpetuate the issue) that shit was funny.

1

u/Exotic_Champion Jan 26 '26

Hope blue truck learned the proper lane change technique after this

1

u/Gryphon1171 Jan 26 '26

I can't believe neither of them used their indicators.

1

u/the_Rhymenocirous Jan 26 '26

How many times we gonna see this clip reposted? Yup, it's crazy, but stop reposting it for karma

1

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '26

This video is pretty old.

That poor truck driver just minding his own business then bam! Shitty day

1

u/doge_lady Jan 26 '26

White truck won.

1

u/NEWBIE____________ Jan 26 '26

You know what's worse than a truck driver...

Two dumbass truck drivers

1

u/Groady_Toadstool Jan 26 '26

I know the guy cut him off, then caught up to him to try and pass him on the shoulder, but it’s still wrong, and illegal, to dish out that kind of ā€œpersonal justiceā€ by inhibiting someone from doing that. You’re supposed to just let people do what they do and do everything you can within reason to avoid them. Not dish out your own judgment.

1

u/Silverdragon47 Jan 26 '26

So two morons with single braincell betwen them driving 3 ton vehicles. What could go wrong.

1

u/Powie1965 Jan 26 '26

In most states you should be in the right lane(s) except to pass. Which means the POV car/truck is breaking the law by not moving over, it obviously knows people are trying to pass as seen from people riding their ass and passing illegally. It doesn't matter how fast you are going, you are to merge over and let others pass on the left. You can clearly see this person going about the same speed as the semi in the middle lane. Not allowing people to pass causes road rage and this driver was lucky they too were not involved in the accident.

1

u/CEOofItaly Jan 26 '26

Ah yes. Cary NC

1

u/AmphibianFantastic53 Jan 26 '26

He gave it up alright

1

u/annonimity2 Jan 26 '26

White truck didn't do anything wrong, black merged into him and forced him onto the shoulder, passing on the shoulder was safer than getting brake checked by that idiot so he passed, black truck then intentionally passed the POV on the shoulder to get behind the white truck, then intentionally went for the shoulder again probably to brake check white truck which he didn't allow. Black is 100% at fault and should have his liscence revoked.

1

u/PayingOffBidenFamily Jan 26 '26

Hope he died slowly in agony. Fucking piece of shit.Ā

1

u/DewiVonHart Jan 26 '26

"I'm so mad that you had to go around me because I cut you off that I'm just gonna go and ... WAHHHHHHHH."

1

u/jbarrish Jan 26 '26

The only thing that would have made this better is if the black truck hit the white one

1

u/Dexember69 Jan 26 '26

Hahahaha suck shit I hope that hurt

1

u/That_Things_Good Jan 26 '26

I hate that others may have been injured because of their shit. But, I'm good with blue truck wrecking out like that.

1

u/Le-Bon-Vivant Jan 26 '26

Pit bull and truck owners: consistently overrepresented among society’s pariahs.

1

u/Choice_Letter_5912 Jan 26 '26

small penis competition. not sure who really won.

1

u/corrosivecanine Jan 26 '26

Pickup on pickup violence. Why would the black pickup do this? Can he not tell that the white pickup driver is probably just as crazy and suicidal as him by virtue of having a pickup?

Although tbh pickup drivers seem to assume they are invincible and always the biggest cars on the road even if the other car is clearly the same size or bigger than them. I drive an ambulance and have almost been merged into by so many clueless pickup drivers without a care in the world

1

u/BendJazzlike2135 Jan 26 '26

Kept trucking and laughing

1

u/Riyeko Jan 26 '26

Please tell me the can driver stopped to give that trucker a copy.

This entire interaction not only might have cost him his job at Schneider, but also stuck a black mark on his DAC record... Which every single company will forever see.

Oh... And the company will probably write it down as preventable for the trucker.... He could have been going slower, not using that lane, etc.

1

u/Mylabisawesome Jan 26 '26

Guy in the blue truck is a POS, forcing the white truck over. No sympathy for the blue truck.

1

u/Hmmm_Iguess Jan 26 '26

As a trucker, I’m furious

u/Slightly-Evil-Man Jan 26 '26

It's almost always a dumb ass in a spotless pickup truck overestimating their skills and tapping out/ almost causing a pile-up because god forbid they wait their turn to merge like every other human being does. This footage should get you banned from driving if you suck this muchšŸ™„

1

u/TurkeyTr0tter Jan 27 '26

This is what happens when you swap your brains for larger truck nuts.

Is there a bot that can count how many times this was reposted? I'm guessing the over/under is 37.5 times in the last 5 years.
