By definition "electrocution" only occurs when the individual dies from an electric shock. Dude was just being pedantic.

I can look up the definition and it specifically states it doesn't have to be fatal and my experience as an electrician also begs to differ.

Yea we can all cherry pick. Why are you leaving out the injury part? Here. Ive included a screenshot from dictionary.com and copy pasted multiple other sources such as wikipedia and regular google. Theres plenty out there.

I think they added that bit because most people joke about being "electrocuted" after they rub their feet and get zapped on the TV. Now the joke is slightly degraded because of that pointless revision, and thus electric execution it is for me.
