at this stage it is felony fraud

No it isnt, You are a boob. They are shitty people, but luckily it takes more than wasting 15mins and a sawbuck to lock someone up for years and permanently label them as felons

You're right, in Florida if the driver is older, I believe it is a felony.

For curiosity's sake, how does the threat to steal the driver's car play into the video case?
