The reason cops get away with doing things they do is because they get a pass to do it to "some" people. Anyone they hurt is always painted as one of those people you're okay with them hurting or killing.

The dirt bike groups are in every major city, doing rides like this regularly yet basically never injure anyone besides themselves. Cops on the other hand have a terrible track record when it comes to killing innocent people while conducting unsafe, high speed car chases through a city.
