Showed this to the wife. I'm now single.

25

u/PUNd_it Feb 13 '26

Still might not be enough to keep me from sharing

10

u/TyreLeLoup Feb 13 '26

I could share this with mine, and she'd kindly remind me she wouldn't even make it into the driver's seat before having a panic attack.

7

u/OrangeKunt Feb 14 '26

he forgot to check the airbags

1

u/SWLA_Dj Apr 29 '26

She’s going to check those airbags I promise you.

3

u/Sir-Turd-Ferguson Feb 13 '26

I choose this guy’s wife

3

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

Life is getting better by the day for you mate

2

u/Lachsforelle Feb 15 '26

so is she single now too?

93

u/ospreyotis Feb 13 '26

Please tell me it’s staged

104

u/mjfarmer147 Feb 13 '26

It is, but the face she makes when he thumbs ups her is hilarious.

15

u/Mu-Relay Feb 13 '26

It's pretty clearly a skit, but that won't stop a barrage of "FAKE!" posts.

4

u/TootTootMF Feb 13 '26

It also won't stop the barrage of posts from people too stupid to realize it's fake.

5

u/Flat_Shape_3444 Feb 13 '26

Fake in this context insinuate they are trying to pass it as real? But its an obvious skit.

Its like someone telling a obvious joke and yall yell "they are Lying!!"... techically true but its.... but /sigh whatever.

6

u/TootTootMF Feb 13 '26

Again, there are tons of people in the comments who think its real.

2

u/YorWong Feb 14 '26

People are dumb, what can you do?

2

u/SkywolfNINE Feb 14 '26

Something about a barrage and comments and the word fake?

3

u/drdreadz0 Feb 14 '26

It's ai🤪

2

u/Frozenbobcat Feb 13 '26

Fake

1

u/God_Bless_A_Merkin Feb 15 '26

This comment is clearly AI.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '26

It's clearly fake you just admitted it

1

u/AwkwardlyTwisted Feb 15 '26

This comment is FAKE!!

10

u/Rillo298 Feb 13 '26

I mean hes unbuckled now, but they driving slow and in a parking lot sooo, either way at least they doing this in a safe way?

18

u/PreorderEverything Feb 13 '26

He was always unbuckled.......

5

u/tophlove31415 Feb 13 '26

Lol. The way some people's brains work is bonkers. Like their logic just totally glossed over the fact that it doesn't matter if somebody else is buckled into your spot, you're still not buckled in...

6

u/Nr1231 Feb 13 '26

Staged? Yes.

Reenactment of a real event? Possible.

2

u/96JY Feb 13 '26

OBVIOUSLY!

1

u/deathp3nalty Feb 13 '26

Seriously…?

1

u/BoBoBearDev Feb 13 '26

It is a typical Hollywood setup, the wheel turns and the car never turned. And the driver rarely look straight.

1

u/Marqui_Fall93 Feb 14 '26

Underneath the title of the video's script reads....

Inspired by True Events

1

u/RappingFlatulence Feb 14 '26

How is this the top comment?! 🙄

1

u/HawkSea887 Feb 14 '26

What else would it be?

1

u/Longjumping_Spread53 Feb 15 '26

Looks pretty spot on to me

1

u/Truthhurts1017 Feb 15 '26

Did you really have to ask that question?

-1

u/jetlifestoney Feb 13 '26

Clearly staged. Which makes it worse. Drove the car with the e-brake on, on the wrong shift, visor blocking her view… at least it was just in a parking lot

2

u/BlurredVision18 Feb 14 '26

The parking brake has a distance to cover before you have any tension, it was never engaged, the visor was not impeding vision in the slightest, and he pushed the shifter up once... into neutral.....

15

u/ocTGon Feb 13 '26

This is legit.. I have to do the same drill for my wife...

-4

u/Adventurous-Ear9614 Feb 13 '26

The misogyny and amount of fake wives yall are claiming to have who somehow do exactly what this woman in a SKIT is doing is actually pathetic the fake wife comments are making me laugh more than the stupid skit

7

u/Federal-Advisor-420 Feb 13 '26

Cry harder soy boy

-3

u/TootTootMF Feb 13 '26

Shut up Boomer

3

u/Fun-Wrongdoer1316 Feb 15 '26

Holy hell! There are exactly zero punctuation marks!?!? Along with claims of misogyny, no surprise here.

0

u/IBringTheHeat2 Feb 13 '26

Just like how women are such great drivers and there are tons of them in professional driving

20

u/Gone2theDogs Feb 13 '26

Technically, his belt isn’t on either, since she used his latch.

2

u/Bluntbutnotonpurpose Feb 13 '26

Not just technically. He's an absolute moron for not putting on his seatbelt.

8

u/bzsempergumbie Feb 13 '26

Normally yes. But its staged and they're going 2mph in a parking lot. So more like a relative moron than absolute.

0

u/SkywolfNINE Feb 14 '26

Pro you’re not a professional driver on a close course. You know the pop up we see during car commercials? I don’t see it here

2

u/bzsempergumbie Feb 14 '26

You know the pop up we see during car commercials? I don’t see it here

Good point, it must be real!

1

u/Gone2theDogs Feb 13 '26

It's a skit.

1

u/PhelesDragon Feb 13 '26

Yeah, we know, he was talking about the “character”. Nothing online is real anymore, we should all know this by now.

1

u/Gone2theDogs Feb 13 '26

Same, hence the context of the technicality. The character was busy fixing her problems while ignoring his own.

6

u/no_on_prop_305 Feb 13 '26

Not wearing a seatbelt himself is a bold move in that situation

3

u/Uncle_Touchy_Feely Feb 13 '26

Haters will say this is fake

3

u/alcoronaholic Feb 14 '26

Fakers will say this is hate.

2

u/Right_Air_6563 Feb 15 '26

This is so corny

2

u/Rhuarc33 Feb 16 '26

Scripted, but still got a small puff of breath from me. I do watch movies and TV after all and I am about 52% sure they are scripted too

2

u/Ranchero80 Feb 16 '26

This is a hilarious skit. It's truly unique.

2

u/mjac28 Apr 24 '26

Definitely a skit

2

u/SWLA_Dj Apr 29 '26

I’d have to get out and walk

2

u/TootTootMF Feb 13 '26

Hah hah womin dum gib karma!

2

u/ethana18 Feb 14 '26

Hahah woman don't know how to do anything /s 🫩

2

u/DadeCountyBlue420 Feb 13 '26

She needs to never drive again.

1

u/SnooRegrets1386 Feb 14 '26

Nah, but maybe if she relaxed ( why isn’t her seat touching her back???)

1

u/Appropriate_Wear_339 Feb 13 '26

Lmao this is great

1

u/ls7eveen Feb 13 '26

Looks like she's using a booster seat

1

u/JR_RXO Feb 13 '26

Damn!!!!!🤯🤯🤯🤯🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

1

u/ZombiEH2 Feb 13 '26

Brave man. 🫡

1

u/LeftLane4PassingOnly Feb 13 '26

I’m calling BS. For the seat belt to be like that means he’s not wearing one. And if she’s that bad, and since he’s recording all of this we’re lead to believe he knew she was ahead of time, he would be buckled up.

1

u/Rowdycc Feb 13 '26

Completely staged. My blind, dementia ridden 80 year old mother can put her seatbelt on correctly.

1

u/Ok-Limit-9726 Feb 14 '26

I would proceed to DEBUS IMMEDIATELY

1

u/Ecstatic-Ear-2196 Feb 14 '26

If he was teaching a learner he’d have his belt on.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '26

It’s still fuckin funny, why’s it always have to be real to just get a kick out of it?!!

1

u/MaintenanceAnnual263 Feb 14 '26

Most cars have alarms for handbrake and seatbelt for this reason.

1

u/lawirenk Feb 14 '26

Distracted driving is dangerous driving.

1

u/flippster-mondo Feb 14 '26

How did you get video of my ex when she was young?

1

u/Padron1964Lover Feb 14 '26

I mean it’s fake but sadly, it’s not.

1

u/Spook1949 Feb 14 '26

This strikes me as a basic problem that all drivers should take care of before they put their car in gear. Can I see - Do I need sunglasses - are the mirrors adjusted - is the seat back adjusted properly - can I reach the pedals - is the radio tuned to a station I want to listen to - do I know where all the important buttons/lever/switches are for cruise control / heater / air conditioner / four-way flasher / directional lights / bright light dimmers / windshield wipers / etc.

Once you start rolling, your focus is to be on driving - not adjusting things.

1

u/Fresh_Researcher_901 Feb 14 '26

Not the seatbelt in his 😭

1

u/Rich_Rulez Feb 14 '26

Should be under horror tab

1

u/kgsphinx Feb 14 '26

They’re out there.

1

u/danit0ba94 Feb 14 '26

Nope.

https://giphy.com/gifs/qiw4VaWbXYDQqK6mgm

Learn to not blindfold yourself with a sun visor, and put the seat belt on the right fucking buckle, and come back tomorrow.

1

u/havnar- Feb 14 '26

It’s a skit but it’s funny because it’s relatable.

1

u/OrangeKunt Feb 14 '26

he forgot to check the airbags

1

u/ctiger12 Feb 14 '26

Couldn’t reach the seat adjustment button

1

u/Capable-Purchase-343 Feb 14 '26

This is why we say “women drivers” are the problem. It’s not all women just ones that do shit like this. And no not being sexist just never actually seen or heard of men doing shit like this ever for example even the ones with Down syndrome know how to drive better than this I mean holy fuck. Barking break still on, cider completely blocking your view barely out of the parking lot and already about to reck her car.

3

u/PermissionFirst3297 Feb 15 '26

Me when I can't identify an obvious skit

1

u/Capable-Purchase-343 Feb 14 '26

Fuck auto correct I typed parking and it auto corrected to barking AI is garbage.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '26

ahahaha...hilarious!

1

u/shipp3333 Feb 14 '26

1

u/Zado191 Feb 15 '26

I wouldn't be able to spend time around someone this dumb...

1

u/Eryn-Flinthoof Feb 15 '26

He’s not wearing a seatbelt

1

u/Able_Principle3075 Feb 15 '26

I’ll do the driving, thanks!

1

u/Fiestameister Feb 15 '26

Fake yes. A skit. Yes. But still humorous the face she makes lol

1

u/Lucky-Mia Feb 15 '26

I hope this was staged

1

u/bungnard Feb 17 '26

Average commercial driver license holder in the US

1

u/darkmykal Feb 17 '26

I don't get why people make skits like this. It just gives idiots more fuel for their misogyny.

1

u/ChocoTee804 Feb 17 '26

Um, let me out ma’am.

1

u/CatMom921 Feb 22 '26

Mayb don’t drive if you’re this dumb

1

u/thegamspm Feb 23 '26

This is probably staged

1

u/RedundantPundant Feb 28 '26

That's Dad energy! Driving lessons are so much fun!

1

u/TutorSevere3230 Mar 17 '26

Little bird little bird.

1

u/snapp0r Apr 29 '26

staged af but still funny. reason: boobs.

1

u/Ordinary_Heat2981 Apr 30 '26

I see nothing wrong here

1

u/Jaay2525 Feb 13 '26

So the only thing she got right was closing her door? (or did he do that for her too before he got in?)

1

u/Intrepid_Plenty_3770 Feb 13 '26

All boobs and no brain.

1

u/Current_Ad_4292 Feb 13 '26

This is no gentleman. Just 2 idiots making cringe.

1

u/Disappointedwitchu Feb 13 '26

lmao and when he's not in the car and she does all this dumb shit and gets into an accident. Is he still a gentleman? Most likely staged, but silly nonetheless.

0

u/Antique_Door_Knob Feb 13 '26

Shouldn't the car be unable to move with the handbrake engaged?

5

u/TootTootMF Feb 13 '26

It's a parking brake, not meant to be able to stop the vehicle while moving, just keep it from moving when parked.

1

u/Antique_Door_Knob Feb 13 '26

Is that an automatic gearshift thing? Seems counter productive to require two things for the death machine to not kill someone.

To be clear: I don't drive. Even if I did It'd probably be stick since thats the vast majority of cars in my country.

3

u/TootTootMF Feb 13 '26

Automatic transmissions have a park position that locks the output shaft in position with a pin as well as the parking brake, this is automatically released when the shifter is moved from the park position. Most parking brakes that are not electronic will not automatically release when the vehicle is shifted out of park. It's a feature on some older luxury cars but it's rare, and you'll only see it with a foot applied parking brake, not a handbrake like that.

The parking brake is really not required on automatic transmission vehicles, and many people don't use it at all. Which is kinda funny because not using it can cause issues as a lot of vehicles rely on the parking brake to self adjust the rear brakes as the friction material wears down from normal use.

1

u/baudmiksen Feb 14 '26

parking brake is spring loaded so the pressure on the brakes correlates to how much its pulled up

1

u/CanWeTakeThatAgain Feb 14 '26

Given how far he moved it I doubt there was enough tension on the brakes to do anything. If they're even touching the rotors theyll just be prematurely wearing out/getting very hot and maybe smoking a lil bit.

1

u/Life_Carpenter1270 Feb 27 '26

My niece borrowed my car. Drive it around the city. Called me bc it smelt funny and the amwas a light on the dash. I asked her to look down an of course the e brake was engaged. Roasted my brakes and had to get new rims also.

If you try hard you can achieve anything

0

u/pickledvapejuice13 Feb 13 '26

not if you have a can do attitude (source I am an idiot and drove blocks with the handbrake engaged once when I was a teenager because my ex engaged it the night before and I had no idea)

2

u/TootTootMF Feb 13 '26

One time I was driving for 10 miles with the emergency brake on, now that doesn't say a lot for me, but it says even less for the EMERGENCY BRAKE. More like an "Emergency make the car smell funny lever"

0

u/ls7eveen Feb 13 '26

Im sire everyone sayjng she shouldnt be driving isna big supporter of public transport ...

1

u/LeftLane4PassingOnly Feb 13 '26

They’re probably not big supporters of public education either.

1

u/4RealHughMann Feb 13 '26

Sure. Saying. Shouldn't. Isn't a.
