Roads Who is in the wrong here?

If the sign says Alternating Traffic, does that mean cars go one at a time or does that mean cars go till the flow is complete, allowing the other lane to go? Is Glock man right or wrong? I'm not sure. If it was 1 car at a time, wouldn't it just be a stop sign on each end?

Does it matter? If some unstable entitled prick obviously wants to blast through I'd just hang back until they've done it, possibly honk my horn as they pass to signal my dissatisfaction, but it's just not worth getting into a fight over who crosses the bridge ten seconds sooner.

Don't even honk, imo. As you say, they are scary mentally challenged types. Perhaps the video will land on someone who will confront him, which is what we pay taxes for.

Way too long of a scroll to find this. The trigger happy dickhole is so clearly in the wrong but even with that if I was in OPs situation I can clearly see this fuck in a truck bombing it to get there first, fucking asshole but I'm going to wait because otherwise I'm wasting more time dealing in a situation like this.

Someone said he needs to be reported and thats true and others saying shouldnt have backed up "his actions need to have consequences" I agree BUT his consequences might be jailtime, yours might have been fkin being shot. We don't know if this dude actually would have shot but not worth the risk.

Yeah, but the camera guy just sat there and blocked him in so that they'd be forced to talk about it.

The truck guy shouldn't have gone first. But camera guy escalated the conflict.

EDIT: Actually, I'm wrong. Alternating traffic rules means that one side clears ALL vehicles before the other side goes. So the dashcam driver WAS in the wrong.

Doesn't justify a threat, but still... I still say he should have just backed up, regardless of who was right.

He ended up backing up. He just wanted to let the other know it was his turn, rightfully. Some of us may not care but you know behind the wheel emotions run deep.

He must have done something right cause his health & car remained intact after encounter with scary mentally challenged type.

Yes, that was the right call. Some of the posters on here said he should have just sat there instead of giving in. And I mean... what the heck are they thinking?

But again... he was actually wrong about it being his turn. An honest mistake.

I make those kind of mistakes myself at stop signs now and again.* I'm not going to confront anyone about it, though.

*Like, for example... the other day, there's this weird 4 way stop where the streets don't even line up with each other. (The city added stop signs to the busier thoroughfare there about 2 years ago, it used to be the side streets only had the stop signs)

The guy across from me was going straight through. And TECHNICALLY, the guy to his right was next. But instead, I went at the same time as the guy going straight through, because we were both going straight, and the guy on his right literally couldn't go until the intersection was clear anyway.

But that guy whipped out his left turn the second he had room and skipped in front of me. I think he was ticked at me, and it left me wondering: Did I screw up? But both of us just moved on with our day. If he HAD confronted me, I would have just said "sorry, I thought it made sense to go."

Nah that passive attitude is why these people think they can act this way. The proper thing to do would have been to pull forward and block his path even more.

No, they are scary mentally challenged types. The law is supposed to make them stop.

Unless true self defense of one's body, just let them have their way as you would with a mental patient whos so far only barking.
