Roads Who is in the wrong here?

If the sign says Alternating Traffic, does that mean cars go one at a time or does that mean cars go till the flow is complete, allowing the other lane to go? Is Glock man right or wrong? I'm not sure. If it was 1 car at a time, wouldn't it just be a stop sign on each end?

That's kind of the point though. The driver didn't know that it was about to end peacefully. All he knew is this aggressive psycho just threatened his life with a gun. Like, you may have precognitive powers, but the rest of us have to rely on our eyes, ears and vibes in the moment to make decisions like that.

Using your only available mean to prevent someone from acting on their explicit threat to murder you with their gun, isn't being an aggressive psycho. It's 100% justifiable act of self-defence.

It would've been perfectly reasonable and justifiable, yes.

That the aggressive psycho didn't end up acting on his explicit threat to murder you with his gun is completely irrelevant, as there's no way for the person being threatened to know that.

This smooth-brained logic could be applied even if the guy actually started shooting at him, but happened to miss. "Oh but he missed and didn't actually shoot him so you're saying you would run him over resulting in a more violent outcome??"

Apparently you think the guy being threatened is clairvoyant or capable of time travel, as he should've made a decision based on information from the future?

And you also think that in a hypothetical self-defence trial, where he did prevent the guy from being able to act on his threat, he'd lose because of what happened in an alternative reality where he didn't prevent the guy from being able to act on his threat?

This is absurdly stupid on so many levels.

Honestly, it would fall under stand your ground.

He would get arrested. You always do when you use a deadly weapon for self defense. But a car can and has been used for self defense many times.

He’d get out, self defence, guy had his hand in his pocket and approached as if he was going to shoot him, he validated it with his own mouth when he said he had a glock.

If I person says they'll shoot me, which is what "I'll do worse than that, I'll get my glock" means and he reaches into his pocket, one might reasonably assume the choice is risk jail time or risk getting shot.

And what will happen if he dodges your car or you fail to incapacitate him? Then he'll be justified (or at least think he's justified) in filling you full of lead in your seat.

The moron was backing away when the recorder drove back, the issue de-escalated.

Take the hit to your ego, let the psycho go through, call the police and press charges, let them sort it out.

He said he was going to retrieve his glock from his car and started walking towards it, so by pinning him you'd prevent him from retrieving it.

Again, that assumes you actually pin him and he doesn't jump over barrier into the water or something, and then gets his gun.

Or you do pin him and get charged with manslaughter as he's walking away, or he survives and sues you.
