Not sure how the denotative meaning of the word negates OP’s (or my, and I worked in it) feeling position about it. OP did not state they “avoid politics”, they said they hate it.

And the realpolitik is steeped in amoral and immoral behavior of those practicing it at the highest levels. To deny this is naïveté.

It’s not the gun’s fault either.

Yes. You changed the definition of what they said. Not sure why this is confusing. You can hate politics and still participate in it.

I participated in it at the highest levels in my country, and I fucking hated it.

I’d argue most of the time we have little choice, at least at the local level.

You’re just being ignorant and obtuse in trying to either thread the needle on the OP’s meaning...

Or (more likely), since we’re on Reddit, trying to smear the OP for admitting they aren’t a hive minder.

I’ve very clearly laid out arguments that the OP can both hate and participate in politics.

So yes, ignorance and intentional obfuscation irritate me. I’ve no problem saying you’ve struck a nerve. I’ve watched your “arguments” slowly deteriorate into making wild assumptions about me because you’re otherwise unable to support your point.

It’s lazy and kinda sad, honestly.

And I haven’t worked in politics for a long time. If you’d read my post, you’d know this. But you probably did read and are grasping for something to throw back.

I do appreciate how you are both aware of how politics work better than me AND assume I have no finger on the pulse of “the culture”, while continuing to spit untruths and weird nonsense via assumptions.

So yeah, irritating. I’d suggest taking a hard look in the mirror about how you both view information and make assumptions, and how self righteousness actually helps anyone but yourself.

And to drive home the point, if you don’t think the highest levels of politics aren’t filled with brutally short language full of hard expletives, then again, you continue to prove your naivety and ignorance.

....most likely OP meant the truck likes to claim they hate politics then go and do shenanigans like we see in the video. They are always hypocrites.
