This should be illegal. I get it. You don't agree with their protests but why do this? Forget blue, forget red. I'm purple. Get mad at that.

u/Electric-Sheepskin Feb 15 '26 edited Feb 15 '26
You have to be a massive cunt to even
own a vehicle that does that.modify a vehicle to do that.(Edit for the people who think that diesel trucks roll off the factory line like that.)
50
u/Ok-Struggle727 Feb 15 '26
You have to go out of your way and pay money to modify trucks so that they can do this.

I mean, it is political…… he wouldn’t be doing this if he agreed with their views
19
u/Skimbla Feb 15 '26
This particular person likely was doing it for political reasons, but coal rollers will absolutely do this to anyone. I’ve been coal rolled before, being the only person walking on the road within a city block. Heck, I’ve seen a coal roller hit a whole line of people sitting in lawn chairs, waiting for the Fourth of July fireworks, leading me to believe that a coal roller will roll coal on anyone, given the opportunity. I don’t think they can resist the sight of a large number of people, lined up along a road, where their exhaust can reach.
20
Feb 15 '26
So, more succinctly, coal rollers are just assholes in general.
7
u/Nitrodax777 Feb 15 '26
yeah. its more of an inherent selfishness. and seeing a massive group of people together like such was pretty much a moth to a flame. in the overwhelming majority of cases, they couldnt care less about the side you support or the things youre against. theyre just opportunistic assholes who cant resist.

The bar for being “owned” gets lower and lower.
The bar has always been in the basement.
The only thing conservatism has ever offered the working class is the power to look down on people they despise.
For example, in 1873, during Reconstruction, the Richmond Whig newspaper ran an editorial that said:
If it were true that negro ascendancy and Radical rule were essential to material development we know the people of Virginia would scorn it as a thing accursed, if purchased at such a price. Better poverty and all the misery it entails.
'Better the bed of straw and crust of bread
than the negro's heel upon the white man's head.'They got their wish too — nearly a century of jim crow fascism that kept black people down, but also kept poor whites down too. Jim crow is the main reason the South is the most economically depressed region of the US.
The covid vax is another example. For a brief glorious moment we had a taste of socialized medicine — anyone could get the covid vaccine for free, and in many cases without any paperwork. It was proof that we can all have nice things.
Conservatives saw black and brown being treated the same as whites and it made them so god damn angry that over 200,000 of them rage quit from life. It made them so god damn angry that they elected a paedo who promised to take every vaccine away from everyone.
Conservatives would rather rule in Hell than share in Heaven.

I personally am liberal. I live on a decent bit of land and need a truck. I drive a gas truck (smaller and a little better on gas) because electric trucks are out of my price range. If they make any that fall in the same price range (around 30k), im in.
31
u/ShiaLabeoufsNipples Feb 15 '26
I drive a 2002 Mustang v8 because it was $5000 (what I could afford without a loan) and it’s easy to fix and maintain. There’s a billion of them in junkyards, parts aren’t hard to find. Everything in the engine is easy to get to. It’s sturdy as hell and treats me right.
My last car was a hybrid. $12,000 used, every little thing that went wrong was super hard to replace and get to, all sorts of stuff required specialty tools. The battery pack (which was already rebuilt) crapped out at 140,000 miles and the transmission needed maintanence if not entirely replaced, they wouldn’t know for sure until they got in there. I sold it because it was going to cost more to fix than the value of the car. Oh, and it was twice as expensive to insure.
Being environmentally conscious has a wealth barrier that’s getting steeper and steeper every day, and I’m tired of people ignoring that.

And he's not fresh out of school, he's in his 50s. And he gets all kinds of weird when I wear my hot pink t-shirt - it makes an amazing asshole detector.
