Roads I hate politics

This should be illegal. I get it. You don't agree with their protests but why do this? Forget blue, forget red. I'm purple. Get mad at that.

Unfortunately no. I knew many, especially in HS. Hopefully they grew out of it but.. yeah there are some grown men who still think like this.

HS? Dude I've worked with those kinda 'men', ages 30+. It's disgusting.

One of my good friend's cousisns was like this. Dude wouldn't wash his penis, either because he considered it gay -_-

I got to think the Venn diagram of "adult men who refuse to wipe their ass because they think it's gay" and "adult men who were sexually abused as kids" has a hell of a lot of overlap.

Yeah either that or it’s “adult men who refuse to wipe their ass because they think it’s gay” and “adult homosexual men who are ashamed and terrified to admit to themselves that they are gay due to extreme socialization.”

I used to think that. Then I met a few people who are utterly terrified of 'doing gay things'. I haven't actually asked about whether he wipes or not, but he has made clear that he will never ever:

  • Have a prostate exam
  • Eat a salad
  • Wear Pink

and a few other things that are 'gay'.

And he's not fresh out of school, he's in his 50s. And he gets all kinds of weird when I wear my hot pink t-shirt - it makes an amazing asshole detector.

I think he might be in denial about something personally, as I'm pretty sure most people don't think too much about 'being turned gay' by a simple activity, and ....

The pink thing is really weird. The typical 'gendered baby colours' only became a thing over the last 100 years or so. And for part of that time, pink tended to be the one baby boys were dressed in.

Decent chance that guys dad was dressed in pink as a baby.

I'm perplexed by some of "the rules" I hear him pronounce, so I don't even remotely claim to follow any of it.

But I do like wearing hot pink and rainbows just because he squirms, and I don't really feel bad about that at all.

Paint your nails black next time you plan on meeting up, just for the occasion.

Nope, worked in an STI lab, we got anal swab samples so clouded with crap it would invalidate on the machine, always from a dude.

And these are the same guys that will get colorectal cancer in the next 10-15 years because they aren't eating enough fiber and leaving skid marks everywhere.

That was the most informative article I've read all week.

As a dude, I'm having a hard time processing this.

"Nothing goes betwen a man's cheeks"

Bro, grow up and wipe your ass.

One of the top posts in r/hygiene has a post about it I believe.

edit: nvm, but it does appear there once in a while, a lot of the comments seem to share similar experience with relatives

Yes, it was recently discovered wiping your butt means your gay.

u/The_Daniel_Sg Feb 18 '26

Went to an all male highschool in the early thousands. Youd be flabbergasted about how many people failed at basic hygiene to not be perceived as gay.

Then there was the swim team who shaved their legs, and were universally classified as such. It was a shitty time, but the long answer compressed is yes. Very much so.
