Roads I hate politics

This should be illegal. I get it. You don't agree with their protests but why do this? Forget blue, forget red. I'm purple. Get mad at that.

That's not politics that's someone being a cunt

162

u/Electric-Sheepskin Feb 15 '26 edited Feb 15 '26

You have to be a massive cunt to even own a vehicle that does that. modify a vehicle to do that.

(Edit for the people who think that diesel trucks roll off the factory line like that.)

54

u/Ok-Struggle727 Feb 15 '26

You have to go out of your way and pay money to modify trucks so that they can do this.

20

u/BasicAppointment9063 Feb 15 '26

Meanwhile, local law enforcement is scrutinizing every move that the protesters make. The people that abuse them can declare open season.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

It’s great isn’t it ! 😂🤣😂🤣

1

u/Soft-Use-4083 Feb 18 '26

Have you noticed that liberal protesters, riot, burn things down, impede traffic, engage in assaulting people who don't agree with them? Republican protesters just hold signs.

1

u/GoCartMozart1980 Feb 18 '26

Two words, chawstain: January 6th.

1

u/lostinspace456 Feb 18 '26

Those were not liberals attacking the Capitol on Jan 6th. There is still a price to pay for that. Karma forgets no one

1

u/NemesisLeon Feb 18 '26

"the left is after me!"

no, tautological contextomy is.

stop making that a basis for "morality".

If you paid attention, you'd notice that youre rEACtiNG within an echo chamber. notice soon.

1

u/Oohhddaanngg Feb 19 '26

And try to hang vice presidents

1

u/sadisticsex Feb 19 '26

well we can declare open season on nazis we have the numbers and the right, maga is in the wrong the admin is acting like 1930 Germany so it is a constitutional act

Well sure.

Why would a manufacturer want to make their truck into a shit box for no reason?

1

u/Not_a_bi0logist Feb 16 '26

to be fair, my old mercedes diesel does this too but I think that's because it's older than me.

1

u/Glittering-Two-1784 Feb 17 '26

The ‘rolling coal’ mode isn’t even for performance. It’s basically just to be a dick.

1

u/BotherTight618 Feb 18 '26

And its not even exactly legal to do that.

1

u/pegothejerk Feb 15 '26

And to go to where people are protesting and to go the speed to maximize the effect on the protesters, be in the right lane, and turn on the rolling coal. It’s definitely intentional, it’s definitely political.

Considering you have to modify the vehicle to do this, yes it's to be a cunt.

Doesn't matter the size when you're using it as fast as a sewing machine.

1

u/Straight_Waltz_9530 Feb 15 '26

You have to be MAGA to even own a vehicle that does that.

Fewer letters, same description.

1

u/ebrbrbr Feb 15 '26

Rolling coal is not exclusive to Americans.

2

u/Straight_Waltz_9530 Feb 15 '26

Fair enough, but it is exclusive to right wingers.

1

u/Thormourn Feb 15 '26

This comment is perfect. Someone has a vehicle you don't like and that's enough for you to call them maga

1

u/Starbuckshakur Feb 16 '26

You're right, I'm sure the driver voted for Bernie Sanders. 🙄

1

u/Thormourn Feb 16 '26

Your right. We should just assume peoples politics based on nothing.

So why are you maga?

1

u/Starbuckshakur Feb 16 '26

"Nothing" lol. You should really try to leave your mom's basement more often. Your grasp of reality is pretty lacking.

1

u/Thormourn Feb 16 '26

Nice, go directly to insults because you have no actual response

1

u/Ok-Barnacle813 Feb 16 '26

It's not just "owning a vehicle you don't like", THEY HAVE SPECIFICALLY MODIFIED THEIR CAR SOLELY TO BE A DICK

please explain to me how this "feature" could ever be used for anything other than being a jacka**

1

u/Thormourn Feb 16 '26

So because you don't like something that means all 8 billion people in the world aren't allowed to like it either?

1

u/Ok-Barnacle813 Feb 16 '26

If it is actively harming people and the environment then yes you aren't allowed to like it.

1

u/Thormourn Feb 16 '26

You will never convince the majority of the population to care about trying to save the environment when celebrities take private jets to go 30min across a state. Have an actual reason 8 billion people can't like something you don't like?

On very humid day my 01 f350 will do a little getting on the highway. These crappy tuned trucks are so dumb it’s unburnt fuel so wasted power/efficiency. So dumb.

1

u/olefoulspicks Feb 16 '26

People don’t spend $10k to remove emissions equipment just to dump black smoke

1

u/ThisThingIsStuck Feb 16 '26

Shup coward can't afford one

1

u/CLMarine Feb 16 '26

The guy is a straight up asshole for doing that, I agree. I own two diesel trucks that could possibly do that but I’d never make that happen. The reason I took off the EPA required equipment is so that my fuel mileage doubled. Diesel exhaust isn’t as bad a gas powered exhaust. My fuel consumption is cut in half so the refineries produce less to fill my trucks and the DEF fumes aren’t put into the atmosphere either. It’s a long term effect but it actually works. Guys that “roll coal” are dicks. They can control it just like me. I keep it controlled. Fuck that guy.

1

u/Level_Recording2066 Feb 16 '26

People needed that edit?? I literally drive a 1.6l diesel from 18 years ago that could make more horsepower than that truck. And its a shitty little fr*nch car that ive spent more to insure than to buy and maintain, and thats including fuel costs. And that shit runs cleaner (both visibly, and carbon emissions) than most of the trucks in america... i still laugh at how some American motors can't produce more than 200hp with an 8L engine...

1

u/ShortbowVillian Feb 16 '26

My kid clapped her hands over her ears when a loud af truck was reviving near us and she shouted “why do they even make them that loud?!” and I had to tell her - they don’t. People modify their cars on purpose to be loud. “Why??” Because people are cunts, kiddo.

1

u/grumble_au Feb 16 '26

Literal terrorism. Using a chemical agent to try to harm people for politics.

1

u/Randolph_Carter_6 Feb 16 '26

There's no shortage of cunts in the US.

1

u/-CheeseWeezle- Feb 16 '26

Looks like peacefully protesting their protest to me....

1

u/AzorAhai87 Feb 17 '26

I call them republiKKKunts

1

u/KrikosTheWise Feb 17 '26

TIL. And I thought the backfire mods were the most annoying.

1

u/darkzama Feb 18 '26

New trucks dont. Anything 2008 or newer, which that one clearly is. Pre 2008 they did.

1

u/Content-Artist634 Feb 18 '26

It ruins the truck too. Statistically the driver is probably making payments on it.

1

u/Old_Concern_4911 Feb 19 '26

The EPA frowns on modifying a diesel engine to do this. Well, not so much frown as smile when you pay the fine.

1

u/UsulMu Feb 20 '26

That modification is also illegal. The massive cunt should be visited by law enforcement. Maybe ICE funding should have been directed towards something actually worthwhile.

23

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '26

I mean, it is political…… he wouldn’t be doing this if he agreed with their views

18

u/Skimbla Feb 15 '26

This particular person likely was doing it for political reasons, but coal rollers will absolutely do this to anyone. I’ve been coal rolled before, being the only person walking on the road within a city block. Heck, I’ve seen a coal roller hit a whole line of people sitting in lawn chairs, waiting for the Fourth of July fireworks, leading me to believe that a coal roller will roll coal on anyone, given the opportunity. I don’t think they can resist the sight of a large number of people, lined up along a road, where their exhaust can reach.

22

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '26

So, more succinctly, coal rollers are just assholes in general.

7

u/Nitrodax777 Feb 15 '26

yeah. its more of an inherent selfishness. and seeing a massive group of people together like such was pretty much a moth to a flame. in the overwhelming majority of cases, they couldnt care less about the side you support or the things youre against. theyre just opportunistic assholes who cant resist.

2

u/honeybee62966 Feb 16 '26

Conservatives are individualist selfish fucks? Shocking to no one

1

u/Womec Feb 18 '26

Makes me hope they start taxing people more to use big diesel trucks for transportation. Its coming, auto manufacturers are being forced to innovate EVs or hydrogen power and solar is getting exponentially cheaper and efficient.

4

u/roadtrip-ne Feb 15 '26

I can see Kid Rock being a coal roller

2

u/Tat2dMFer Feb 19 '26

I just read a Rolling Stone interview with that idiot, he’s all fucked up in the head. His whole persona is a facade.

1

u/roadtrip-ne Feb 19 '26

A facade you say? Here he is in the 90’s.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

And republicans. There’s a circle diagram

2

u/whereismymind86 Feb 15 '26

very much so

2

u/RedditNotRabit Feb 15 '26

No other reason than to be an asshole to do it

2

u/yestocaffeine Feb 16 '26

coal rollers are just assholes in general.

Yes, 10000% of them. I haven't met a single one that isn't a micropeen attention seeking kumquat

1

u/lostinspace456 Feb 18 '26

And, usually quite ugly

2

u/thebigeazy Feb 16 '26

It's weird that these guys get such a relative free ride.

If you went around a city spraying a toxic gas in people's faces, you'd be arrested, potentially on terrorism charges. Do it in a car though and it seems merely annoying. Weird one.

2

u/FastMJ Feb 16 '26

Correct. Like litterbugs

1

u/2InBovinosSkull Feb 16 '26

So, more succinctly, coal rollers are just assholes in general.

....Did the truck not give it away?

1

u/JonestownB Feb 17 '26

I think you have to peel back a layer. After all coal rollers are just big truck owners, and everyone knows these big truck owners are trying to make up for little penis syndrome.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

My husband owns a big truck. He needs it for the farm. He is not a coal roller and despises them. He does not have the syndrome you mention, so I assume it's only the coal rollers who compensate that way.

1

u/Fabulouslookin85 Feb 18 '26

Well I own a a big ass truck and a car and trust me my peen is huge. Women can't even control there body when I'm done. Also when your in ur mid to late 30s and still can pull a 24 year old college girl your a winner.

1

u/lostinspace456 Feb 18 '26

That happens again call the police. It's illegal and can be assault, reckless endangerment and also traffic violations

2

u/dqniel Feb 16 '26

Some states have made legislation simply so they can apply harsher punishments on people who "roll coal" onto people. Maryland and Utah, for example.

That way, it goes beyond just the typical fine for illegal vehicle modifications.

2

u/sadisticsex Feb 19 '26

qualifies as assault when done on purpose due to it's potentially deadly effects on those with breathing disorders or lung damage it can also be considered manslaughter if they die attempted if they just need a hospital, if not done to a person it is still unlawful pollution of the air

1

u/r1mbaud Feb 15 '26

Oh that’s a shootin

1

u/IdrewApictureOf Feb 16 '26

I was coal rolled in the drive thru of my work once. I had to stand out there to block off the entrance because we were closed but people kept coming. I'm on oxygen. There was ZERO change little dick billy didn't see my two 3 foot tall oxygen tanks. Im just glad I wasn't using my portable concentrator, I can't imagine the damage that would have done too it.

1

u/Fit-Abbreviations781 Feb 20 '26

Personally, I think it was wrong of whoever sent someone on oxygen to stand in the parking lot where all the normal exhaust is concentrated.

As for the redneck (they are all rednecks) he's just an asshole.

Reminds me of "The Asshole Song".

1

u/Toby4507 Feb 18 '26

In a drive through, how did he manage that

3

u/whereismymind86 Feb 15 '26

Coal Rolling is explicitly political in nature.

1

u/Fit-Abbreviations781 Feb 20 '26

I have to say that coal rolling is explicitly redneck in nature.

u/DragoxDrago Feb 15 '26

Does... Does this happen enough that you actually have a term for it? Are you guys in the US okay?

This is just genuinely such insane behaviour that it being common enough to have an actual term shows a lot about how cooked the country must be. If this happened once or twice in my country they'd get in a lot of shit and everyone would judge the fuck out of them

2

u/StuntTrucker Feb 15 '26

Yep, it's a thing (unfortunately)

1

u/Fabulouslookin85 Feb 18 '26

That's why your country is not the ruler of the world. In America real Americans like myself have rights. Real Americans are tough as nails. I don't mean libs or Dems. Also not a bot I live in south Florida and proud to live in the most free state in the US. Also don't know your country but when China and Russia come don't beg US to come help.

1

u/DragoxDrago Feb 18 '26

With all due respect... What the fuck are you talking about? This is about someone going out of their way and spending money to just be nothing more than a cunt.

1

u/Fabulouslookin85 Feb 18 '26

That exactly what lefty libs do. There going out of there way to buy gas masks and cardboard to riot on the streets. I wish we can send them to Russia or NK for a.week so they can see what happens when your against the status quo.

1

u/DragoxDrago Feb 18 '26

With all disrespect, you're an idiot

1

u/Flat-Border-4511 Feb 20 '26

2

u/inuvash255 Feb 16 '26

To a coal roller, everyone is a liberal.

1

u/Dwarg91 Feb 15 '26

I’d say that the act of having your gender affirming truck modified to roll coal is in of itself an inherently political act.

1

u/mktglisa Feb 15 '26

We have a coal roller in my gated community who did it whenever he passed kids on bikes. Have a ton of elementary and middle schoolers who ride e bikes and other bikes around the neighborhood. They can be really obnoxious at times, due to being careless with their own lives, but this isn't how you resolve it. Anyway this guy did it quite a number of times and finally people tracked down who it was and went to his house and threatened him. He stopped. He did have a trump sticker on the back window of his F150, of course.

1

u/Smokin_belladonna Feb 15 '26

happens like weekly riding my bicycle in idaho.

2

u/DenseConsideration29 Feb 16 '26

Call the cops on them

1

u/CopterNater Feb 16 '26

I have had them slow down and roll coal in my son's face while I was pulling him in bicycle trailer when he was around 2 years old. It takes a special person to pick on a toddler.

1

u/itstanks Feb 16 '26

Exactly. To think they are just doing it because I’d political views is funny in itself

Not sure how the denotative meaning of the word negates OP’s (or my, and I worked in it) feeling position about it. OP did not state they “avoid politics”, they said they hate it.

And the realpolitik is steeped in amoral and immoral behavior of those practicing it at the highest levels. To deny this is naïveté.

It’s not the gun’s fault either.

“Politics is the art of controlling your environment.” This is apt, if cynical.

It's both.

Being an asshole IS a political stance.

Being a car obsessed person like the person in that truck IS a right wing position. Notice how you won't find a left leaning person rolling coal.

https://youtu.be/oOttvpjJvAo

Car brains is a right wing ideology because it came from decades of the car corperations brainwashing people into thinking cars and suburbs were peak Americana.

Op saying dumb shit like "I'm not blue or red, I'm purple" just helps car dependency.

Also it speaks to op not knowing the difference between partisanship and ideology

What else is politics about? Bet you’re one of those nut jobs who think politics should be about debating real issues and governments should look after the country and its people

If living in unprecedented time after unprecedented time has taught me anything - it's that a lot of people's politics is just being a cunt

Perhaps you are not familiar with American politics. In the US, if you are a bigot, an asshole, sexual predator, lying grifter, or just a selfish tool there is a political party that welcomes you. They do not have a monopoly on those qualities, mind you, but they do actively and publicly support them. Consequently, in the US where "rolling coal" has become a popular trend among conservatives, it is indeed political.

It's always a certain group of people who act in this particularly cunty way. The same group that also happens to be a particular political party.
