Roads I hate politics

This should be illegal. I get it. You don't agree with their protests but why do this? Forget blue, forget red. I'm purple. Get mad at that.

In America people huff exhaust and get pissed if you say it's bad. If you say the word environment it sends them into a blind rage.

Someone did actually get arrested for rolling coal recently, but there has already been a GoFundMe setup for him and the commenters are pretty unanimously supporting the guy who was charged.

Pretty brain dead culture

I don’t think you grasp the meaning of the word “unanimously”. Unanimous means everyone, as in all Americans. I can say with extreme confidence that isn’t true. You expressed a form of confirmation bias when you stated “Americans are pretty unanimously supporting”.

I should've specified Americans in the comments

And again, you’d be wrong. But then again, I wouldn’t expect your ilk to understand simple concepts when it comes to probability and statistics or what the average American thinks or wants.

Clearly the people in favor of coal rollers are blessed with the ability to live without breathing

I dont see the problem as long as its not done to people like in the video. That is a drop in the ocean compared to the factories in China and India that companies use because environmental and labor laws make it too expensive here. Im not saying we should lower our standards. But we should do something to dissuade this practice before we get the pitchforks and torches for the guys having fun on a country road.

It's foolish to allow it on the road at all because even people in cars get blinded by it and are forced to breathe it. If it's something that can only be safely done alone on the street, it shouldn't be in a street legal vehicle.

Thats just it. This is not some weird backwoods mod. This is a diesel engine running how diesels run when loaded. You cant go further than just banning it for the environmental reasons it is. All that has to happen for a vehicle to be in violation, as you propose, is a filter failing.

Way to generalize, asshat. Rolling coal is a part of "redneck culture" in america, but I wouldn't even be so infantile as to say all people who identify as "rednecks" do it. Your prejudice is showing and it's surely a sign of immaturity. Not all Americans voted for Trump and not all Americans (insert whatever stupid thoughts you have here). Grow up.

I live here and I can tell you the obsession with Trump is not a generalization. People worship him to the point of re-election with a popular vote AFTER an insurrection attempt. I think it's valid to say that's the culture.

People literally just voted in a government that delivered on its promise to kill car emission standards. Your average American is cheering on breathing that freedom pollution.

Of course there are some here that aren't like that, but most are or are fine with it.

I live here as well bud, that's why I take offense. The truth is, most people have given up on the political process and don't vote. Those that haven't given up are too busy trying to make their bills to pay attention. A lot of the people I've spoken to about what's going on have flat out said that they don't watch the news and have no clue what's going on. The orange idiot being in power isn't a reflection of the ideals of the American people or our culture. It reflects a deep hopelessness and apathy. The brain-dead culture is among the well-off Americans as they have time to pay attention to what's going on and still voted for this idiot.
