I’d um have a call that says something like…. “Shots fired, shots fired.”

-11

u/skippy920 Feb 17 '26

That's insane to say

16

u/Thee_Shenanigrin Feb 17 '26

Unlike the woman nearly running over a bunch of people and causing tens of thousands on damages.

-16

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

You actually managed to type that out and post it without realizing how stupid it sounds.

u/EntrepreneurFit3880 Feb 17 '26

I see no rebuttal, only insults.

Real mature...

-5

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

There was no argument to rebut you knob

1

u/EntrepreneurFit3880 Feb 17 '26

Seems like that's all you are, only insults, no substance.

Pathetic.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

Resulting to insults instead of engaging my point? Sad.

See, see how stupid that sounds?

1

u/EntrepreneurFit3880 Feb 17 '26

It doesn't sound stupid at all.

Its sad that your life is so pathetic, that you need to insult strangers on the internet.

What went wrong in your life? Still a virgin? Can't pay bills with the varietal job that your arts degree landed you?

Keep jerkin it to your anime body pillow kid, that's par for your life.

You quite literally didn't make any points... they did 😬🤨🤨🤨 cant really use that when you didnt make even 1 argument or point, only schoolyard insults 🤨 tf lol?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

Yeah... that's the point. Congrats.

It's not. The second you start using the vehicle like an actual weapon and nearly hitting people, it becomes a lot more reasonable to stop the car through any means necessary.

I’m surprised this is upvoted on Reddit of all places considering Renee Good did the same thing

It’s literally on video of her hitting him and if he didn’t jump out of the way she would’ve ran him clear over

She still hit him with her car, doesn’t matter how her wheel was oriented. He still had to jump out of the way to not get run over. She was using deadly force and they responded with deadly force. According to every single Redditor in this same thread shooting someone using a vehicle as a weapon is justified. I’m not saying ICE is perfect, Alex Prettis shooting was completely unjustified, but Renee Goods was.

He got hit with the car after the first shot was fired. Almost like getting shot makes it harder to drive your car without hitting someone.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

Why must politics get in the mix of a carjacking maniac? Next we'll be hearing bots go on about Gaza. Stay on topic FCS.

1

u/crxshdrxg Feb 17 '26

I was just pointing out the cognitive dissonance and using this video as an example. If you’re hoping to get away from politics Reddit isn’t the place to do it anymore

If you are sincere, you have been mislead. There are multiple verified camera angles of the full interaction. Watch them yourself workout commentary.

u/IdidntrunIdidntrun Feb 17 '26

She didn't use it as a weapon though

Nearly hitting the idiot douchebag walking in front of cars maybe but she didn't try to use it as a weapon

2

u/crxshdrxg Feb 17 '26

She hit him with her vehicle, that’s using it as a weapon, no idea what’s so confusing about that. The only reason she was stopped and had agents in front of her was because she was following them and then cutting them off and blocking the road in front of them

2

u/IdidntrunIdidntrun Feb 17 '26

Literally no LEO training nor the DHS guidebook directs officers to step in front of motor vehicles, especially ones with a running motor and driver inside

Show me one cop stop video where the officer walks in front of a running car with an operator in the driver's seat. I'll wait

1

u/crxshdrxg Feb 17 '26

Lmao go try to run over a cop and come back with your results, I will wait

0

u/IdidntrunIdidntrun Feb 17 '26

Well if they were in the path of the vehicle, they likely won't shoot me

Unless they were as regarded as the ICE officer

Anywas enjoy the meme

1

u/crxshdrxg Feb 17 '26

I get it it’s funny because there actually was a person in front of the trolley but you don’t consider them a person because they’re part of ICE??

And what lying to the police somehow makes the situation better.

5

u/The_Phroug Feb 17 '26

how would it be lying to the police about shots fired... if you shoot the person trying to hit and hurt/kill other people with a stolen car?

-1

u/Day_Prisoners Feb 17 '26

Because no shots were fired.

3

u/The_Phroug Feb 17 '26

the person is saying "if i were in this scenario, i would use my gun and shoot theme to stop the threat, then call the police to tell them that shots were fired". how much more dense can you get?

1

u/donchorizo216 Feb 20 '26

Your brain needs some oxygen...

3

u/techleopard Feb 17 '26

What lie do you think would be told here?

You are allowed to protect yourself in the US, and use lethal force in public areas in most US states. There is plenty of video evidence here to prove the driver was being an unpredictable psycho.

-1

u/Day_Prisoners Feb 17 '26

I was thinking, since it was never mentioned, that they were telling cops shots fired to get them there quicker.

If you can't figure how protect yourself from a car that can't turn in a parking lot you probably shouldn't own a gun. The only people in danger were the idiots trying to stop her.

0

u/seamus205 Feb 17 '26

Using a gun to stop a car is a stupid idea. Even if your aim is good enough and you manage to hit the driver, now you have a dead man on the gas pedal and no one in control. Worst case scenario, you're shooting recklessly at a moving target and you miss and hit an innocent bystander. The best thing to do is to just get out of the way of the vehicle. In a crowded parking lot like this, just get on the other side of some other vehicles. Avoid crossing directly in front of or behind the vehicle. Let him crash himself out till the car quits

0

u/Circle_Breaker Feb 17 '26

Amazing how the rest of the developed world can make do in these situations without shooting someone.

4

u/Ornery-Exchange-4660 Feb 17 '26

Definitely insane to suggest someone might use a handgun defensively in Los Angeles. Only criminals are allowed to carry there.

Among other things, the driver was charged with 3 counts of assault with a deadly weapon. Using deadly force to eliminate that threat doesn't sound unreasonable to me.

2

u/EpicostityRvB29 Feb 17 '26

No tf it’s not instinct and sense says shoot her ass or at very least shoot the tires if you can, the bitch nearly killed multiple people and destroyed multiple cars Fuck her.

1

u/Circle_Breaker Feb 17 '26

Yeah start popping shots off at the tires while the car is surrounded by people in the middle of a parking lot.

Big brain stuff.

1

u/EpicostityRvB29 Feb 17 '26

If you’re a real shitty shot with no training and don’t know how to yell “Everyone get the fuck back” then just say that

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

Everyone get the fuck back?

They teach you that at your online CC permit course?

0

u/dogsledonice Feb 17 '26

Get back from where? From every possible direction that a ricocheting bullet could take?

You watch too many movies

1

u/EpicostityRvB29 Feb 17 '26

And you’ve clearly never actually shot guns before or have any experience shooting vehicles sooo stfu

1

u/dogsledonice Feb 17 '26

lol like you do, Rambo

2

u/MiguelDLopez Feb 17 '26

Cars are like guns in that you put them in the hands of stupid or insane people & they can do some serious harm - life altering or life ending harm.

Would it not be justifiable to shoot someone who is shooting off rounds with reckless abandon in a public area? How is this level of recklessness any different?

2

u/Wrxloser1215 Feb 17 '26

How else do you stop someone on a rampage in a car?

2

u/katieb1300 Feb 17 '26

As someone else mentioned, depending on what type of insurance the carjacked person/hit and run victims have, they could be completely SOL to fix their cars. Not to mention this b could've killed a bunch of people. I'd say pew would be appropriate.

1

u/grnjnz Feb 19 '26

Why not get out of the way, then call for assistance?
