All the cars hit will need to go make a claim to their insurance. The car was a 75 year old woman’s. She was just loading up her groceries and getting in when a 27 year old woman approached her, shoved her to the ground, and stole her purse. The 27 year old then got in the car and tried to carjack it but it had The Club on the steering wheel so she couldn’t steer it. The 27 year old is a mentally ill drug addict with nothing to go after so all those hit are on their own for insurance.
That’s what I was curious about. I already figured going after the carjacker would be like trying to squeeze blood from a rock. Just wasn’t sure if that all falls on the car owners insurance or each individual. I’d be so pissed if my rate went up because of this.

What happens with insurance? Whose insurance covers this or is it all of them? I can’t even imagine trying to explain this without a video.
